He took out his PDA and looked at it. He had about two more miles to go before they ended the supposed radius on where the target was. He supposed he would go around it once he hit the end, if no target was in sight.

A small tear made its way down her cheek, and she dabbed away at it with a finger, shuffling through the snow...finally coming to rest leaning against a tree. She checked her PDA...still about 1 and a half miles on this side...to the end of the radius. At this point she'd be content with a warm bed and some hot cocoa...

He lined her up in the sights of his rifle, taking aim at her back. It would only fire a tranquilizing round.
He fired.

Her eyes widened as she felt something stab through the back of her jacket and into her skin. She contorted...trying to fight it, falling to her knees.
But the tranquilizer dart's contents overpowered her, and her last act before blacking out was to fall into the snow on her back.

The Section operative headed towards her, taking out a handgun. He figured a dart would be better, since it was more assured to put her down, than a bullet not killing or stopping her. But down, a bullet to the head would do it.
If not for a gunshot that tore through the operative's leg, causing him to drop his weapon. It was Kaito, advancing.

Kaito crouched by her, pulling the dart out and checking to be sure she was breathing. Content, he moved on the fallen agent, who was pulling himself away, blood staining the snow.

She didn't feel the dart, but the dosage started to recede. Yuriko would wake up soon.

She willed herself to her feet...but stumbled on the snow, falling again. The fall would help jolt her back to her senses though, and she slowly got up again, brushing the snow out of her hair and wiping it from her face. "Kaito?"
