Overview:
Aurelio is a serious man, somewhat cold and distant. He seeks a purpose in his life, and wants to do good for the people. After 9/11, he’s seen too much. He used to be a much better person, a firefighter, and be very caring about people, but he became colder and harder after the terrorist attacks. He’s still able to care and feel, but it’s just not as easy for him anymore. He struggles with it, and desperately wants to change back to how he once was. He's a bit of a womanizer, and enjoys a good drink.
After 9/11, he has issues flying, and issues being in tall buildings. It doesn’t help that the G.O.D. Corporation building is tall.
As the G.O.D. Rider, Aurelio basically suited up and went, “Damn it, I’m like Batman”, and so he channels the Dark Knight into what he does. He doesn’t use guns, will kill only when necessary, and comes and goes as quickly as possible. Although, with that being fictional, he knows he can’t do it the same way, but does the best he can to emulate the comic.

History
Aurelio was born to an Italian father and British mother. His father named him after his Italian heritage. They lived in London where Aurelio was born for a few years, and then traveled a bit. They spent a few years in Ireland where his father was now being employed.
During the few years spent in Ireland, Aurelio picked up an Irish accent, which he kept for his lifetime. After spending time in Ireland, they went back to London, and then to America for his parents jobs.
As he finished growing up in America, in the New York area, Aurelio decided to become a firefighter. He was eighteen, almost nineteen, when 9/11 happened. He was there, at Ground Zero, because of the need for personnel. He witnessed terrible things, and did his best, but this left him shocked and unsure of himself.
After this he left firefighting, before he even really began. His father had invested in a group called the G.O.D. Corporation, a technology firm. His father died suddenly, and as such Aurelio was willed his stock, as his mother had no interest in it.
However, the stock was worth a lot by this time. Aurelio had a lot of money now, as his father had possessed about 33% of the stock due to knowing the man who made the corporation and believing in him. Aurelio used his roughly 1/3 percent to get a place on the board.
After sitting in a few board meetings, he was approached by his father’s friend. They left together that night, but an attempted mugging occurred. Aurelio was able to disarm the man and defeat him, as he had spent time training in martial arts and the like in his time since leaving firefighting, because he had nothing else to do, and was a fan of comics in his youth.
As they spoke that night and the man learned that Aurelio really didn’t have much of a goal in life anymore, he offered him a way to do something good. He offered him a suit of armor that the G.O.D. Corporation had created, deciding to get involved in what was seeming to be the way of the world now.
Using his training, Aurelio was equipped to be the G.O.D. Rider, and fashioned himself after Batman. He began to live more of an upper class lifestyle while becoming a vigilante, secretly sponsored by the board of G.O.D.
For the past few years he’s been doing this, and still hasn’t found his goal.

Sample RP:
“I’ve had the martial arts training, but not the…ninja training?” he didn’t know how to pose it. After Batman Begins, he went with ninja. That seemed to be the term to use.
How was he going to fix that one? Was it even really worth it? How would he find someone to teach him ninja arts? He could easily find ways to become more agile, faster, things like that. Take up parkour?
Maybe copying Batman wasn’t going to be a great idea. But he’d gone too far to stop now. No, he was basically Batman. That’s the image he had taken up for himself, and that’s what he’d stick with.
Especially after Nolan. Screw the other heroes he could mimic in his way of doing things. No. Nolan was perfect in this regard, so Batman it was.
