Clothes: He wears the longcoat of a Makai Knight, his looking more like Kouga’s in design, but the color is a mid gray color, with dark blue trim. He wears the black leather armor of a Makai Knight underneath with boots for his job. He carries his blade inside of his coat, concealed. When he’s not on the job, and knows he isn’t, he wears black button up shirt with an open neckline and sleeves, along with gray pants and boots.

Overview:
Retsu is a man of few words most of the time, speaking only when necessary, and attempting to speak wisely, but he isn’t very good at it. He has a low tolerance for people who do stupid things, but can handle it when children do stupid things, because that’s completely different. He is a respectful man who demands respect, and shows it back. Little sense of humor, he takes his duty seriously, always trying to remain stoic and carefree, but failing a decent amount of time. He’s always focused on his duty, but Yui’s been trying to change him and make him live his own life, but how can he live down the final request of his father?
He has a love of art, which is often what breaks him free of his attempted stoic demeanor. He trains on a daily basis, always saying that he has to get stronger to help defeat the Horrors. He values speed and grace over anything else in battle, often working on his speed rather than building his strength.

Fighting Style: As BARON, Retsu fights with a swift style, getting in close and making either a single hit kill if possible, or dashing attacks to keep the enemy off balance. He’ll use lightning infused blows for damage and for slowing the enemy.
Weapons: Soul Metal scimitar, Madou Lighter
Abilities: Increased strength and defense, lightning abilities (mostly through his blade). His armor only exists for 99.9 seconds. With two other Makai Knights he can become a focal point through his limited magical abilities and draw all of their power around them, creating an attack where they shoot into the air and smash into the enemy, going back down into it. Makai Knight Flash. He also can perform the flash step ability, though it does a lot of damage to his legs with prolonged use.

History
Retsu was born to a Makai Priest and Priestess. His father had tried to become a Knight, but he had failed, and as such went into what he could do. His father pushed him to become a Knight and make up for what he couldn’t do. From the age of five Retsu was trained under the watchful and hard eyes of an older Knight who trained many recruits in his time.
Retsu wasn’t that good when he started, and was the weakest of the group he knew. When he was hearing about the fact that the weak would be removed as possible Knights, he began to pray. He began to train harder outside of the watched training. And when they were watched and evaluated, Retsu began to improve.
He became one of the top members of his group, and at age sixteen he was done with that training. He began to apprentice under another Knight and gained his Madagou at this time. He learned how to contend with his master’s powers as a ranged fighter as a partial spellcaster type, akin to DAN. He developed his speed during this time, and with the help of his master, his lightning harnessing powers.
Soon after learning his lightning abilities he summoned his armor for the first time and moved on to be his own Knight as BARON. Around this time his father became ill and was on his deathbed. He told Retsu to focus on knighthood, and then passed away.
It was soon after this that he met Yui on the streets, without a place to go. He took her in as he pitied her, and began to take care of her. They took a liking to each other, and she stayed as he helped her with her life as she grew up. His mother died shortly after in a fight with a Horror.
Yui’s made her point to Retsu that she’s going to stay with him, no matter what happens. He continues to fight Horrors and look after her, putting her through school and the like as well.
