She was on the verge of being evicted from her small apartment, and she needed to get an influx of money to help stop that. But it wasn't going well. She drew everyday, as long as she could, always making designs and sending them off, but thus far she was unsuccessful in finding buyers. Even in the private market, going to people directly.
She wasted most of her time drawing, wasting the rest going to people. She didn't know what she was going to end up doing at this rate.

Suzie was outside of her house. She'd sent Dawn and Sakura to Japan and Sam and Pauline had the weekend off. It was just her.
She knocked on the door.

Noa got up and walked to her door, opening it a crack. She recognized the woman, so she didn't undo the chain.

She listened to Suzie's words, and then slammed the door. She was shaking a little. No...maybe she could have spoken to her, but she said too much.
