History
Steven was born to a semi-affluent family living in a rather nice apartment in New York City. Steven became infatuated with technology at a young age, when he first used a computer, their family’s titanic Dell desktop. He actually modified the computer to run faster at age 6, earning great praise from his dad. Starting at age 7, Steven began hanging out during his free time at the local computer shop, where the owner would help him with his homework and when he was done, taught him about computers. Steven loved it, so he was more than a little opposed to it when his father said they were going to be moving to Providence, Rhode Island. When they moved, when Steven was 12, he was sulky for a while, but soon opened up and became great friends with several people.
He used his free time to expand his technology knowledge, expanding his expertise to cell phones. Soon, he became known as the kid to go to if one had device troubles. The technology teacher at Providence Middle School even consulted him when she had a problem with one of the computers. Some of the, ahem, lesser intellectually gifted amongst those attending Providence Middle, decided this proficiency with technology was a negative trait, so they began calling him “Techno Dork.” Steven liked the sound of “Techno”, so he began calling himself that online and elsewhere, and soon it stuck.
When Steven was 15, he discovered blogging and he began a regular blog, which soon evolved into a vlog, and then evolved into a weekly show with 15 minute episodes where he reported on everything from local rumors to international news of interest. Based on a poll on his site, he began calling his show “Piranha Tank”, due to the fact that he had a tendency to strip stories to the bone, as a piranha might with it’s prey. He soon struck up a relationship with the lead news anchor at the local news station, and Steven provided local news to help with the broadcast while the station sponsored his show, evolving it into a nationwide production. He was contacted by several major news outlets, and has decided to take up CNN on a job offer when he graduates college.
When the star crashed in the woods, he found himself one with the power of the Griffin, told to defend the Earth against Serris. He still has no fuckin’ idea who Serris is, so he’s just chilling at the moment.

Sample RP: Techno looked over his notes. He had a few new stories, his repeating segments (Jerk of the Week, The Piranha Tank Monthly Hero, etc.), and a animation from a viewer in California. He shrugged, and adjusted his camera, performing a quick microphone check, then turned and made sure his background was presentable. He had his schematics, and it was relatively neat, so he was good.
“Okay, Steven. You can do this. You’ve been doing it for two years.” Techno muttered to himself. He booted up the site, and gave himself and a countdown. “3…..2……1…….Go.” as he hit the record button on the camera, and the broadcast button on his site.
“It is July 17, I’m your host as always, Techno, and this, is the Piranha Tank.” Techno said into the camera. “Dive in with me!” as he rolled the animation, a 15 second claymation of a cow being devoured by a school of piranha as his unofficial theme song played in the background. As soon as that ended, he began the show itself with, “Hi there! Well, jumping right on in, our first story…”
