Alex laid on the couch in the mission base, reading a book. She wasn't completely certain where Morgan was, but she didn't really care. She was glad he was gone. She began to wonder where the other members were, but decided against going out to actively look for them. Even if she wanted to, she wouldn't, since she had decided to wrap tape around her ankles and knees. Just for good measure, she had some over her mouth too.

"Having fun?" asked Levy as he walked into the room while jotting something down on a notepad.

Alex jumped and ripped off the tape over her mouth. "Jesus, Levy, knock. Nearly gave me a heart attack." She sat up and started pulling the tape off her legs.

"I find knocking - too alternative," he sits down on a nearby armchair, "I'd much prefer if you didn't hear me coming."

"Well, it's basic manners to knock. Besides, I'm in a bit of a situation that I prefer you would not tell anyone else about, or else I will beat the ever-living hell out of you." Alex said, gathering the excess tape into a ball and getting up to deposit it in the trash.

"Manners?" he scoffed continuing to jot down notes, "That's just behavioral conditioning used by parents to control their children and rob them of their individuality. I'll have none of that, thank you."
He straightens his glasses, "I promise i won't tell anyone about...your hobby."

"Thank you." Alex said, not responding to the comment about manners.

Levy wasn't really one for small talk so he just continued writing in his little notebook, not saying a further word.

"So, what exactly do you write about?" Alex asked, sitting back down. She was legit curious, as it seemed to be a pretty constant activity of his.

"I'm writing a poem," he answered truthfully.

"Huh. You never really struck me as a poet." Alex admitted.

"Are you kidding me? The kid looks like a poet, talks like a poet, even walks like a poet," John said entering the room as he took a swig from his water bottle after a hard workout.

"Oh, hi John." Alex said, looking at him and looking him up and down. "Well, he more strikes me as just general bookish than specifically poetic."

"This is my first poem," he said striking out a line he found unsatisfactory.

"I knew it. You just don't seem the right temperament to be a poet." Alex said.
