Faceless Men (G1)

[Trenton and Kylie Ricard]

Trenton got a running start, and leapt out of the jump bay on the Ring. He was already transformed, and he had a stasis generator to help him land. There had been reports of a force of Mercerio Pseudocrats, led by two men who were believed to be higher Pseudocrats but had not transformed, were attacking London, the Tottenham Court area. By all reports, the London Metropolitan Police were already in conflict with them, but weren't making much progress, which was exactly why Trenton was now falling at terminal velocity over the scene of the attack.

There were loads of them all over the place, taking advantage of a protest in the middle of the city and turned it into a riot. And right in the middle of the Pseudocrats were two suits of armour.

One green and one yellow.

Kyle Walker and Grace Granger, shooting their way through a bunch of them, back to back.

A third party tapped into their comms. "INCOMING!"
Moments later, a stasis generator fired like a cannon shell into the crowd, a few yards from the pair. When it kicked on, it threw about 10 Pseudocrats clear. Moments later, a man in blue armor landed on his feet, the stasis field slowing his fall to a livable speed just inches before he hit the ground.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the party has arrived!" Trenton yelled, gesturing dramatically.

"New target! Confirm!" Grace shouted. "Sync!"

There was a beep and a green spot in both the G1 and G2 helmets as the onboard AI's synchronised their armours near-perfectly.

"Sync!" Kyle replied, both riders turning around and firing a few bursts at Trenton. They would have kept on going but they noticed who it was.
"Oh ... your not one of those things," Grace murmured, backhanding one of "Those things" as it ran up behind her.

"Yes, I'm not, thank you for noticing. Friendly fire is frowned upon where I come from." Trenton said sarcastically as he drew his sword and off-handedly stabbed a Pseudocrat in the area where it's face would have been. "These things are called Pseudocrats, and I get paid 5 figures to kill them."

"We do it as a job," Kyle muttered quietly.

Grace and Kyle turned and shot at a pair behind them before switching to using their weapon's bayonets against them.
"We need to keep them contained within this area but we can't let them overwhelm us!" Grace summed up for Trenton "Greenie over here was going to take the perimeter but we're surrounded, can you get him to the other end?"

"I can do ya one better." A fourth voice stated into the comms.
"Valkyrie! Excellent timing." Trenton said as another stasis generator fired down where Grace had indicated. Soon after, another rider landed, in grey armor.
"Valkyrie, entering the fray." The newcomer stated, drawing twin pistols and gunning down a large number of Pseudocrats.

"Contact!" Grace cried as the new figure dropped into the fray.

Kyle watched it and designated it as "Ally" in his HUDbefore moving on to gunning down more Pseudocrats.
"Nice, I'm still heading to that building, more could be getting through," Kyle said, slashing through a couple of the faceless men and running forward.

"Anyone want to tell me what the Hell these things are?" Grace asked above the sound of bullets.

Trenton vaulted off the shoulder of a Pseudocrat and joined Kyle, cutting down Pseudocrats as he went.

Hunter began to shoot his way toward Grace. "They are called Pseudocrats, genetically altered humans who become these monsters. These are the grunts, which is why there are so many. Did you happen to see anybody appearing to lead this crowd?" He said into a comm link with Grace.

"No," Grace said simply "They just appeared, if there is then I don't know where they went!"

Meanwhile Kyle was rushing through shooting any Pseudocrat in his wake as he headed to the tower.
