Night Of Sasword [OPEN]

[Noa Clarke]

She hated Clock Up. She was smart enough to know what it had to do to someone's body. She had to end this, now.

She flicked her Zecter, "Rider Kick!" she shouted, energy building up in her right leg. She twisted, rotating, throwing a partway spinning kick at the Worm's chest as it was baring down on her.

[Susan Cross]

The Worm shrieked as the tachyon-charged foot connected to the side of it's body, tearing through a huge chunk of it's chitinous flesh before it froze in mid-air for a split-second, it's scream increasing in pitch and intensity.

Then it exploded, then the air was filled with a burst of green flames, a plume of black smoke and a noxious smell like burnt toast and rotten eggs. The Worm was dead ...

Suzie continued to pace.
"Has she done it?" She wondered aloud "Is the worm gone?"

[Noa Clarke]

"Clock Over"

Noa staggered to a stop after her kick had connected. She looked around, relieved to be out of Clock Up, but unsure and a bit frightened of the people around. Who were they?

[Susan Cross]

Now how to go about this? Obviously Suzie didn't want to scare her too much, it'd be a bad idea to just open fire. So obviously her and the four ZECTroopers behind her had to make no sudden movements at all.

Just as this thought finished the four ZECTroopers behind her made a sudden move. Each one raised their gun arm up, and aimed them at Noa. Suzie sighed and made a few steps towards the rider.
"Stand down." She ordered, not even looking back.

Susan stopped in front of Kabuto and nodded.
"So ... you're Kabuto then?" She said, looking the rider up and then down "I'll admit that you're ... better than I was expecting,"

Behind her the ZECTroopers were bagging up the dead trooper. Suzie looked over her shoulder, just to draw attention to it before looking back into Kabuto's big brown eyes.
"Not perfect though, you have no idea what you've got do you, Ms. Clarke?"

[Noa Clarke]

"Better?" she asked, confused by that comment, "Ok, who are you people?" she asked, looking at all of them. She'd feel better if she was still transformed, but she wasn't. They could kill her if they wanted, and she couldn't do anything about it.

"I don't know what's going on," she told Suzie, "Who are you?"

[Susan Cross]

Suzie looked behind, two ZECTroopers were still standing guard.
"In the broadest of terms?" She asked, though it was a rhetorical question "The men and women behind me-"
"Um ... we're actually all men," One of the two black-clad warriors corrected, raising his left hand (Which meant he had to lower his gun-holding right arm).

"The men behind me are a crack assault squad," She said "The monster you fought was a lethal alien killer that can mimic anyone, and me?" She held out her right hand.

There was a chattering noise and then a beep as a black scorpion with a purple tail leapt onto her hand and snapped it's claws towards Noa. Suzie smiled and glanced at the other woman.

"I'm like you," She answered calmly.

[Noa Clarke]

"Another Rider with one of these...things?" she asked, not sure what to refer to her Zecter as, "Ok...so, you were here to fight the monster, then? But you know about me, then? You said I was better than you expected," she pointed out, "How do you know me? My name?"

[Susan Cross]

"They're called Zecters," Suzie added a little indignantly "... You at least know what yours is called don't you?"

She shook her head and sighed.
"The worms, are a race of aliens that can assume the form of a human being near perfectly, they can copy body, personality sometimes even the memories of their victim," Suzie explained "But the worst thing is that they can ... well Clock Up, we work for an organisation called ZECT, ZECT fight the worms with the Masked Rider System and the Zecters,"

Suzie started to walk around Noa.
"Your Zecter's name is Kabuto." She said "The Beetle Zecter, it's strong , it's fast and it's one of our strongest Zecters." She stopped and sat down on a bin, looking as casual as she could. The real reason she was sitting on a bin was because she felt herself about to vomit, evidently the attack hadn't ended when she injected herself "We ... *cough* we want it back,"

[Noa Clarke]

"You can have it back," she said, "Now that I know about all of this, I don't want to be part of it. I never did, but this makes it sound even worse. No; take it," she said, trying to make her Zecter leave, "I always wanted it gone, but I didn't know what to do with it. It wouldn't leave, either."

[Susan Cross]

Suzie smiled and held out her hand for the Zecter.

Nothing happened. She waited another second and clicked her tongue in irritation.
"Christsake you stupid ..." She muttered, stepping forward.

The Zecter buzzed away from her. Susan narrowed her eyes and looked at Noa.
"... Where did you get it?" She inquired, referring to the Zecter "It's very attached to you,"

Suzie's own Zecter scampered down her arm, leapt at a wall and crawled to the top whereupon it started snapping it's claws at the Kabuto Zecter.

[Noa Clarke]

"I found it," she said, "Honestly, I found it."

The Kabuto Zecter flew back a bit from Suzie's Zecter, flying forward a little bit to feign a tackle and then moving back again, wary of the other Zecter.

"I don't know why it's attached..."

Suzie looked up at the thing Noa Clarke found such a short time ago ...

"... You're in trouble Miss Clark. Big trouble." She said finally, looking up at the Zecter's bickering above them. "But ... you do have potential,"

She whistled and the purple scorpion bounded down onto her shoulder. She rubbed it's "head" a bit and it shook all over making a whirring noise.

"ZECT gave me an order: Retrieve the Kabuto Zecter using whatever means are necessary." She paused letting the last part sink in before handing her a card. "I'm letting you off because you saved my life" Suzie declined to mention the fact that she didn't have the Sasword Yaiba and couldn't transform. The card was purple with Suzie's number and email on it. "Do you want to join us?"

She looked up, sighed and walked towards the ZECTroopers and the humvee they'd arrived in.
"You have a week to make your decision and contact me. Otherwise I will hunt you down," She said in a very calm very casual way "Do you want to join ZECT?"

[Noa Clarke]

"I don't," Noa said, "I just want to get rid of this thing," she said as her Zecter flew back to her, "And I want to go on with my life. I don't want to get mixed up in any of this!"

None the less, she put the card in her pocket. "Go!" she shouted at the Zecter, but it didn't leave her.

[Susan Cross]

"Oh and Noa?" Suzie said "Make the right choice, you have a lot of potential as a designer,"

And with that she disappeared into the van as it drove off.

[Noa Clarke]

"How...how do you know that?" she asked, but the other woman was already leaving and gone.

How did she know about that? How did they know about her?
