Night Of Sasword [OPEN]

She'd rolled over in bed, nearly thrown up twice and when she finally could get a little bit of sleep all she'd had was nightmares. Finally, after a few hours she went outside and hit the town.

Soho. Nightclub.
"Sex on the rocks," She had no idea what it was, she just said it on a whim, turned out to be grenadine with booze in it. "Thanks, what do I owe you?"
"Courtesy of the man on the right," The barman said bobbing his head to a rugged looking gentleman on her left.

Suzie raised her glass and gave him a nod.

She sipped her drink and looked around. All she'd done was thrown on the clothes from yesterday (No, wait it was still 23:56 they were her clothes from earlier today), black jeans, black jacket, blue shirt (Not tucked in this time).

She yawned, now she was getting a bit more tired. Was there anyone else here. Suzie glanced over to the man on the right and frowned he looked familiar ... where had she seen him before? Or his photo? Or ... wait ... No she'd seen him before hadn't she? But where?

"Bugger." Suzie murmured as it hit her like a tonne of bricks.

5:30 this morning. Dead man, tied in various pieces of Worm ichor. Possibly being used as a Worm's disguise. She looked back to the man who bought her her drink. Gone.
"Double bugger ..." She said, putting her drink down, where was he? Where could he be?

There was a scream from outside. Suzie ran to the door ...

[Noa Clarke]

Noa was returning home - or on her way home, rather - from her boyfriend's house, where she had spent some time with him. She was tired now, wishing she could have just stayed the night. They had already been in bed, after all, why not stay?

Whatever, now she was just trying to get home to her small apartment. The Kabuto Zecter was quiet in her bag, at least. And had been. But as she kept going, it started to fly around. She stopped and opened the bag, "What?" she asked it.

It flew out and flew off, "Hey!" she called, hurrying after it, tired as she was.

Susan pushed through the door, grabbing for her sword. Not there. Dammit. Of course, who the Hell would take a sword on a lonely night out?

She dashed out into the street, her best bet right now would be to call ZECTroopers in, she took her phone up. Speedial 1 would call an emergency dispatch to her location, and she was going to need it ...

A humvee containing eight heavily armed ZECTroopers started to rev up as armoured men (And a woman) leapt into the back and loaded their guns up.

Suzie ran toward the end of the street. The man who'd offered her a drink was holding a woman to the wall. The lady stopped screaming to the sky and saw Suzie.
"Oh my God! Thank God you're hear! You've got to-" She screamed.

Suzie ground her teeth together as the man turned into a strange figure, hunched, black giant spiked tendrils sticking out of his pudgy, furry torso. Eight red eyes and a pair of poisonous fangs. She put her fists forward, hopefully she'd be alright. The alley was silent apart from the breaths.

The unknown woman's breathing was fast, scared and worried.
Suzie's was calm, controlled, regulated.
The Worm's breaths came out in wet, deep huffs.
Then there was a buzz.

Everyone looked up and saw the Kabuto Zecter whizz around the three of them and then span back down.
"The Kabuto Zec-" Suzie cried out and her breath caught in her throat, she fell to her knees, another attack! DAMMIT! Where was that injector!?

She heard a woosh as the Worm clocked up ...

Oh God ...

[Noa Clarke]

The Kabuto Zecter shot down, ending up between Suzie and the Worm. It would be durable enough to stop the Clock Uped Worm as Noa came around the corner, seeing...something. Of course she didn't see the Worm at the moment, but she figured something was happening as she ran towards them, slinging the belt on for good measure.

Why tonight? Why now? This wasn't going to be good.

Suzie reached around for her injector pen and stabbed it into her leg. A sharp sting. A slight throb. Then the warm feeling as the viscous orange liquid coursed through her veins. Her eyes looked up and she started to breathe slowly as she examined the zecter.

She heard running.

No way ...

Her head turned to the left as a figure ran down, even through the flickering orange light and the dark knight oozing into the alleyway she could make out the features of Noa Clarke. She took a deep breath and stood up, moving further down so she could observe the fight.

The worm stopped, dropping out of Clock-Up suddenly and hissing at Noa once. Twice. A third time. The third hiss was accompanied with a long stream of webbing shot towards her direction.

She fell when she tried to move aside. She wasn't exactly someone good at this, so of course a dodge didn't work like she had planned. She was tired, so that didn't help matters.

Her Zecter smashed once more into the Worm and flew for her as she held her hand up from the ground, beckoning it. She would have to deal with this, unfortunately. At least the one woman had gotten away. Why wasn't the other?

Oh well. It was dark, and she didn't care about being seen transforming and fighting by a single person. She gripped the Zecter and got to her feet, putting it on her belt, "Henshin," she said as her armor formed up around her in Masked Form.

Suzie looked up through her firey hair.

It was Kabuto.

She'd found Kabuto.

Suzie struggled to her feet, her breathing regulating a little bit as the worm stared down the rider. Alright, it was time to see how good this woman was ...

The Worm lashed out with it's top four arms, slashing at the heavily armed rider with it's sharp talons. While doing this it rushed forward lunging at her with it's fangs.

The other woman stopped to breathe a little. What was that thing? She looked over her shoulder, was it still there? Was it still following her?

...

No. No she seemed safe. She sighed and walked forward, her legs wobbling and then turned her head in the same direction. The girl shrieked as a black clad figure looked at her and then rushed past her heading down the street towards the alley behind her.

Just what was going on?

Noa took the hits and stumbled back, barely managing to stay on her feet. She reached down to her belt, switching the Zecter, "Cast Off!"

Her armor exited from her body, then shot off in all directions, most of it straight at the Worm. The horn on her helmet rose, securing itself into place as the belt resonated, "Change Beetle" as she drew her weapon into firearm mode.

Suzie ducked as several pieces of armour flew past her and continued to watch the fight.

The Worm leapt back, avoiding fragments of suit and then lunged at Noa.

[Noa Clarke]

She wished she had knife mode. She lifted her Kunai and started to fire, holding it with both hands to steady and aim it.

She was a total amateur! The Worm dodged each shot with ease before launching a sticky stream of webbing at her gun and diving down to slash at her.

Suzie stood up, then stopped. She had been ordered to retrieve the Zecter, maybe if she just left the worm to kill the inexperienced Kabuto then ... no ... no she couldn't do that. Could she? ...

... Maybe.

No, she should try t-

At this point thoughts of whether or not she should arrange for Kabuto's murder were cut off by the sound of rapid fire machine guns hitting the worms armoured carapace and heading towards Kabuto as well.

The worm snarled at the ZECTroopers running down the alleyway, spitting a webbing blast at one and blinding him. Another soldier stood in front and fired concentrated bursts towards the worm. Then it vanished ...

Suzie blinked. Shit.

She turned towards Kabuto, she needed the Zecter but more people would die if she let the worm kill Kabuto.
"Clock up!" Suzie yelled as a Zectrooper was bisected through his chest "You know how to clock up right! The button on your hip!"

[Noa Clarke]

"I don't like Clocking Up!" Noa shouted, not wondering how this woman knew about it. She didn't think of it, but she did hit the button.

"Clock Up"

She vanished, seeing the Worm as she pursued it with her weapon still in hand. She put it on her belt and ran after the Worm, deciding she needed to attack it head on, or use the knife. She'd switch to that later. For now, her best bet was to just attack.

"I don't care! If you don't do it we're all dead!" Suzie called back.

Of course to Noa all she heard was "I don't ca-" and then Suzie froze. An "ae" sound escaping from her lips forever, hands cupped round her mouth as her lips slowly changed into making a "r" sound.

The Worm looked at Noa and struck out with it's fist, aiming for the riders gut. It wasn't really a fist though, the strange composition of it's hands made it more of a club with a pair of needles out of the top. It didn't matter all that much, the point was it would still hurt. The creature hissed again, spitting a webbing blast towards her.

Meanwhile Suzie and the ZECTroopers moved cautiously and slowly, waiting for the fight to end.

[Noa Clarke]

Noa dodged to the side. She was tired, but she was still lighter and faster than her enemy. She ducked down and went for a low kick up at the Worm's gut, while fingering her weapon with her right hand, trying to peel webbing away.

The Worm was knocked into a wall which it grabbed onto with a combination of some sticky stuff and just digging it's sharpened claws into the masonry. It glared down and hissed again before leaping down towards her.

Suzie blinked and shook her head gently, a ZECTrooper walked up to her.
"Ma'am?"
Suzie nodded and replied with "I'm good," before coughing a little more "Minor attack but ... gave myself an injection, I should be good,"

The other trooper paused and nodded.
"... That's Kabuto right?" He asked.
Suzie nodded again and bit the inside of her cheek.

"That's Kabuto ..."

The Worm was howling and flailing, angry now. If there was a time to finish it then now was that time ...
