Both the jeep and the walking party entered the city, the gate closing behind the jeep, but no sort of protection on the hole in the wall. Camden noticed that the foliage parted for about 3 feet, allowing a clear view of the captive men to anyone who happened to be looking up.

The woman driving said, indicating the two buildings that seemed to be on a hilltop in the center of the city. If she paid attention, she might see her teammates being marched on a wooden raised walkway to her left.

"That would be great, I love to see your history," Tanya said, "your temple too I'm always curious what kind of goddess you Amazons worship," as she then noticed her companions being marched, "where are you going to take the men?" she asked.

"We Amazons participate in ancestor veneration. We abandoned gods generations ago." The driver replied. "They are being marched to face judgement at the hands of our Queen." The other woman said, sneering at the men.

"Death. But that is only for the most heinous of crimes, not mere trespassing. Their sentence will most likely be a few hours in the stocks." The driver replied, as the drove through what looked like a town square, with a large, mostly empty, stocks in the middle.
