Overview: Koichi is a rather harsh person, barely does he ever make what he considers to be an “exception” to those of whom are dangerous or have sinned. He has a toughened-exterior which conceals well how warm and kind he can be, a truth to his personality which lays buried deep inside of him. When in the middle of a “hunt” he’ll become even more stoic than usual and won’t cease until he’s exterminated his targets.

Henshin Sequence: Koichi has to put on the clothes that he wears as the Skull Man as if it were a suit of armor or a uniform. Although the equipment is well-made and no less the equivalent to a Kamen Rider’s armor, it’s his helmet that stands out as unique. When he grasps ahold of the helmet and puts it on—its eyes begin to glow a bright red as Koichi becomes “The Skull Man”.

Koichi Kanzaki; the older twin brother of the very same man of whom served as care-taker and idol to Hikari Shimura, the same man who died for both her and Phoebe. A young man of who had no family of his own, no wife, no child, a man who had lived only for himself whereas his twin had lived for others. He had only served as a Police Officer to situate himself, his life remaining bland, normal, and empty. The day though that he caught wind of his brother’s death, his life would be thrown into a shift unlike any other—as the very same day he was approached by an affiliate of his deceased brother’s of whom came bearing both news and inheritance for Koichi.
Koichi was to inherit role as benefactor to the orphanage that his brother had ties with, even more he was left to take on a mantle his brother had once held. That mantle was of a hunter of sinners, an exterminator for monsters, and a protector of the tranquility that was to come with night, the mantle of the Skull Man. At first Koichi wasn’t welcoming of it, telling the affiliate that he didn’t want any part of dealing with an orphanage nor this Skull Man business. When told though that his brother died for both of these things; Koichi relented. Since then, Koichi has taken up the helmet of Skull Man becoming a vigilante of who hunts down criminals and monsters alike—making them pay for their sins, their atrocities.
Koichi to this day retains faint connection with the orphanage his brother served as benefactor too, and although he leaves it in the hands of his brother’s affiliate on the most part he whole-heartedly takes action at night as the Skull Man. Koichi has gained a sort of assistant in the form of Tatsuo Kusaka, a young man of whom was one of many monsters he hunted—but rather than kill he spared, seeing potential in him. Currently though he has gained an interest in Hikari Shimura, one of the two girls that his brother ended up dying for, to this day he trials her—wanting her to understand and pay for her sin of taking action, as he continues to wonder; “Was her life really worth my brother dying for?”

The Skull Man stood beneath the full moon, eyes glowing a right red, staring down a pair of thieves of whom thought moments ago they had out ran the police. The two thieves were on the ground, shivering out of fear in direction of this… thing that stood before them. “W-what the hell do you mean?” One of them responded, the Skull Man merely stood there, looking unamused.
“Count them, and repent.”
The scraping of metal was heard as he drew a pair of daggers, approaching them slowly. A pair of screams were then heard as several moments would come to pass—the Skull Man now standing on a cat-walk. Gazing down as he would see the arrival of police officers who heard the screams, leaving behind the murdered bodies of the thieves in which still had the stolen goods they were carrying.
“Rest in peace.” He mumbled beneath his breath jumping upwards and disappearing into the black of night.

Habits/ Quirks:
- Before going out for one of his hunts he asks himself “Ready?”
- When confronting a monster or criminal, he asks them “How many sins have you committed?” following their response, he follows up with “Count them, and repent.” Despite whatever their response is.
- Upon finishing off an enemy, he does swings his left arm straight-down and then moves it left to right, making a cross in the air as the eyes of his helmet will glow as he says: “Rest in peace.”
- When sleeping, has a habit of folding his arms as if he’s in thought more than he is asleep.
Relationships:
- “Brother” – Younger Twin Brother; the man who had once served as both care-taker and idol to Hikari Shimura. Koichi sees his brother’s death as a result of failing to pay for his sins, although he doesn’t mean this as bitterly as it would come out as to anyone else.
- Tatsuo Kusaka – “Friend”; Koichi had once tried to kill Tatsuo after he learned what he really was, but decided to spare him, seeing a chance to repent for the boy in ways other than his death. Since then, Tatsuo has become both friend and assistant to Koichi in his hunting of monsters, Koichi personally is unsure how to view him—but sometimes jokefully considers him his successor.
- Hikari Shimura – One of two young girls that his Brother ended up dying for; Koichi appears to her every now and then to trial her, reminding her of her “sin of acting”. He possesses no ill-blood towards her, at least not so long as she possesses the potential to pass his trials.

Fighting Style: As the Skull Man; he often strikes using powerful physically crushing blows, only after exposing an opening in his target if not striking fear into them first. His trump card is his ability to “hyper accelerate” and strike as the world seemingly stands still for him.
