Planet Spes; a human colony. Humans have begun leaving Earth due to the strife on the planet; the monsters, the teams and warriors fighting them. A few hundred to a thousand humans have left thus far, naming their new planet 'Spes'; Latin for 'hope'.
The planet had almost no life, other than some small animals. It's mostly desert, with mountains, some foliage, and little water. Upon arrival the people began to create a civilization, with many scientists and the like going with, to make sure that it was habitable. It was.
After creating an outpost civilization and beginning to obtain the materials they needed, teams were made. A local policing force, and an expeditionary force. They weren't sure what was out there, so they made sure to have a defensive team at the ready, just in case.
The teams are equipped with the only firearms available to the civilization; handguns for police, rifles for expeditionaries. Along with their weapons and minimal technology, some Sentai devices were also given out.
The Sirengers were created, unsure of what was out there.
As the civilization thrives, some wonder if this is the proper step to take for this group of humans. Questions of humanity and civilization have come up, as they might someday be the last humans, depending on what happens to the Earth.
