A large pile of rocks blocked her path. It began to shudder, then formed into Lago, the humanoid rock.
"You intruder. Intruder bad." Lago said. "Lago break intruder." He swung an arm down at Selena.
The spiders were now up to Michelle's shoulders.
"Industrious little suckers, aren't you?" Michelle remarked.

Selena rolled to avoid it and pulled her firearm, opening fire into Lago. "Rock monster?" he muttered, unsure of how her firepower would do.
Meanwhile, Ryan was still sitting around when he stood up in realization, "Why am I listening to Selena?" he questioned, "She's not in charge of me! And I have a damsel to save!" he said joyfully, hurrying out.

The shots did little. A deep grating noise sounded, almost like a laugh. "Puny weapon no work on Lago. Lago invincible." It replied, before stomping toward her. Someone observant might notice that it's legs were set very widely apart.
The spiders had completely wrapped Michelle in their white, sticky product and went back over her body a second time.
Damn, they're good. Michelle thought to herself, as the webs had sealed her mouth shut by this point.

She fired everywhere she could and rolled up to her feet, summoning her bow. She fired for his face as she backed away.

The first few shots connected successfully, but Lago raised his hand to block more shots. He stumbled back, and toppled onto a stalagmite, breaking apart into a pile of rocks. The rocks shuddered as he began to reform to one side.

Lago took no damage while he was reforming. "I born from stone! Puny weapon no harm Lago! Lago invincible!" The beast roared as he began to shoot fist-sized rocks at Selena.

"STAND STILL SO LAGO CAN BREAK INTRUDER!" Lago roared, firing larger rocks.
The roar got Michelle's attention. Especially the mention of an "intruder".

She wasn't able to do a lot of damage, that was obvious. She had no idea what else she could be doing for now.
Meanwhile, Ryan was finally reaching the cave. He followed along on his phone, going in.

Lago roared in rage, the roar echoing off of the cave walls as he kept attacking, beginning to access his state of heightened speed.
Michelle knew it was no use struggling, so she didn't even try.

Selena moved at her higher speed, matching Lago and firing rapidly, just trying to go for the legs and slow it down.
Meanwhile, Ryan had followed to the same spot Selena had found. A boulder. He summoned his personal weapon and slammed the hammer into the boulder, deciding to go straight through.

Unfortunately, so did Lago. "MORE INTRUDERS? LAGO WILL BREAK YOU ALL!"

Lago turned back to Selena and heaved a boulder the size of a small car at her, bellowing with pure unbridled rage.
