The year is 2040. The world has changed by an incredible margin, but I'm not here to tell you that. In the year 2015, I believe it was November, the London Incident occurred. China, ever eager to grasp world conquest decided to eliminate the competition, launching what is believed to be around 8 nuclear missiles at major cities around the world, including London. However, the missiles were shoddily built, and as such, all 8 prematurely detonated while flying through the stratosphere. This event seeded radiation into the atmosphere, and is widely believed to be what caused the next stage in humanity's evolution: the homo sapiens rex or what you would call a superhero.

Essentially, a future RP with superheroes that's pretty much on the brink of WW3. Any takers?

Some more background info: - The western nations of Europe (England, France, Spain, Germany, Italy) have joined to form the United European Republics, or UEP. Russia has formed an alliance with the eastern nations to form the Russian Democratic Empire, or RDE. Amsterdam is now the Sovereign Republic of Amsterdam (and is still just as wild) and the two massive powers have a treaty which is slowly falling apart.
- China has conquered (read: nuked) Africa, rendering it inhospitable, as well as conquering (this time literally) a good bit of Oceania. They have rebranded themselves the People's Empire of China, or the PEC. The rest of Asia have joined into the Free Asian Coalition, or FAC. There is currently a bloody naval war between the two powers.
- Due to a massive war between it's nations, South America has been all but abandoned, and it's cities have been reclaimed by the jungle.
- Half of America (the eastern half) is dominated by a massive city dubbed "Bravery". The rest of the North American continent is small towns and farmland.
- Due to the Aborigine Revolts of 2030, Australia is now the Aborigine Nation. It now consists completely of nomadic Aboriginal tribes.
