Jutsu: Sono Otoko no Tameni [Open]

[Kiryu & Shin]

Shin swiftly walked down the street of the crowded Shibuya streets, bringing himself to face the Hachiko statue. "Master Kiryu would love to be here right now," Shin said to no one in particular as he blocked out the rest of the world for a moment. "This dog is a perfect example of the world Master Kiryu wishes to create, sans humans," he spoke, raising his hand to stroke the statue.

"Oh, hey! Cool statue." The serene moment is interrupted with energetic and uplifting beats. The source? A pair of rather odd looking headphones being pulled down around a young woman's neck. "Some craftsmanship, huh?" She gives the man a warm smile before looking back at the statue.

[Kiryu & Shin]

Shin gave the woman a cold stare as he snapped out of his trance-like state. His hand slowly dropped to his side as he used his other hand to flip his hair. "Do you have any idea what this statue represents?" he asked her coldly.

"No... but my guess is the reverence that man has for animals, and the bond that they have alongside man." Another annoyingly bright smile. "What do you think it means?"

[Kiryu & Shin]

Shin sucked his teeth, disgusted by the woman's answer. "Hachiko was a loyal dog. After his master's death, he still waited for him every day, in the same spot, at the same time until his death. It proves a dog's superiority over a man. A man would stop waiting after two or three days. This dog waited until it died of cancer," Shin explained, turning his attention back to the statue.

"Wow..." She went quiet at that, staring at the statue in reverence for several long moment. "That... is a beautiful story. But I believe that man can be just as patient, if given the chance." She sighs, thumbing the volume down of the music playing through her phones.

[Kiryu & Shin]

"In all situations where man has faced a similar trial, he has failed. In the past, that lack of dedication caused Thanatos to create plagues and tsunamis to eradicate and drown the sinners," Shin went on. "In all situations, the animals that proved their desire to live in peace were spared."

[shambles]

"Okay... are you a PETA member or something...?" She blinks, hiking a brow at the rather.... oddly spoken fellow. "Or is this a culture thing a foreigner like me isn't meant to understand? I mean, I don't know if you've looked around, but there's a lot in this world that proves you otherwise. Some rise above their mistakes, families live happily day to day, other dedicate their whole lives to their passions. Just look around us. Many Japanese spend their lives perfecting what they love. Food, wine, art... like the poet and the musician. Our world is full of men with dedication and desire for peace."

[Kiryu & Shin]

"To me, it makes no difference what these people do, who they are, or what they stand for. They sundered the Earth, ruined the once majestic lands, plundered from each other and stained the land with blood, killed the defenseless for food and sport, and made extinct several which wished them no harm," Shin said calmly.

Zoey scoffs, now staring at the man in shock. "Oh wow, you are hardcore PETA, aren't you? No offense, but if you're going to start shoving pamphlets in my face and telling me that 'fur is murder', then you can just walk away now." She rolls her eyes.

[Kiryu & Shin]

"You continue to throw that word around. PETA. What is that? It sounds like a food. I'm not interested in eating, Master Kiryu has not given me time to do so," Shin said, raising his hand. "You do not seem to understand the grave sins of your kin, though. Shall I punish you for your ignorance?"

[shambles]

"Punish me...? Look, I don't know what kind of sick stuff you're into bu-" And then it actually clicked. Sort of. "Oh... crap." Immediately Zoey starts to back away, throwing her hands up in a defensive stance. "Look, if you're looking for a fight, you'll be in a world of hurt. Do us both a favor and just run home now before you have to be carried off, huh?"

[Kiryu & Shin]

Shin snapped his fingers as miasma sprayed from the ground. "You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. In the words of the great Master Kiryu, I'll just have to crush you under the weight of your own skin!" Shin declared as the miasma spun around him and solidified, transforming him into his robed demon Facade form. He slammed his palm into the ground and pulled out the twin-bladed guillotine known as the Death Slice.

Oh... CRAP.

Zoey was definitely not expecting her night to turn out like this. What the heck was that thing?!?

"You picked the wrong girl to piss off!" She pulls off her headphones as she speaks. "TURN IT UP, RAVE ON!" And with a splay of lasers, Zoey transforms into Kamen Rider RAVE.

[Kiryu & Shin]

Shin slowly walked towards Rave. "I will make you pay for humanity's crimes against this realm!" he declared, swinging the Death Slice around for a moment before slamming it into the ground. "Jutsu: Don Bunshin!" he declared as clones of himself crawled out from the ground, each one carrying its own Death Slice. "I will show no mercy!" Shin hissed.
