Dragon broke free of Haruto's influence and then prepared a fiery breath as his final counterattack. "Die, you wretched mage!"
A stream of hot flames blasted at Pegasus as the other mage did his finisher.

"NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" Ryoga declared, swinging Gallatin down and then charging straight for the flames, enduring the intense heat as he used Gallatin to create a path like a flashlight, charging straight down at Dragon and using whatever strength he had left to stab at the center of the magic seal.

"GUAGH!" Dragon roared in pain as the stab plowed through the seal and into him. Dragon looked at Pegasus and then at the wound, before back to Pegasus. "Kisama, mahoutsukai....!"

Ryoga panted, the searing flames having exhausted his physical strength. "Dammit... Just gotta... Absorb what's left..." he muttered, putting the Absorb ring on his finger as he dropped Gallatin. He slowly walked toward Dragon, putting the Absorb ring in front of his driver.
"Absorb! Let's be together forever!" the driver declared again as Pegasus Cross's seal appeared on Ryoga's hand. He slowly lifted his exhausted hand, aiming for Dragon's head once more.

Dragon's strength has faded and he couldn't resist, and watched as the living life was drained out of him, completely unaware that the Wizardriver fell from his waist and to the floor, glowing faintly.
A telepathic voice spoke to Ryoga. "Sorry pal, but if you kill him you will kill me as well..."

Ryoga stopped for a moment, his mana reserves filling up just a bit as he walked back. "Dammit, more voices? Who the hell are you?" he asked, holding his head.

"I'm the one residing in Dragon's body." Haruto replied. "I'm not ready to die yet so I'm afraid I can't let you kill him."
The cracked Wizardriver floated in front of Dragon, who wondered. "What? I thought that stupid was suppose to be on my waist..."
Dragon snatched it and it automatically activated a spell, without the ring. 'BEGONE, PLEASE!'
With that echoed chant, the driver and Dragon disappeared in a flash.

Ryoga simply sucked his teeth as Dragon disappeared. He collapsed on his back as his transformation undid itself and the Pegasus Driver disappeared. "God dammit..." he whispered as he drifted to sleep.
