Michelle went into her locker, which was conveniently nearby, to retrieve some of her books. She watched the situation unfold from the corner of her eye.

They talked a little about not much of consequence. She laughed a little about what he said, and then stepped a little closer to him. And without much going on, he chose to kiss her right there.

Michelle stiffened. She was disturbingly close to murdering both of them right there on the spot. She clenched her locker door so that her knuckles turned white, muttering something unintelligible. She retrieved the rest of her books, composed herself, then suddenly lost it again and slammed her locker door. Hard.

Michelle remembered she had the same class as him next. She marched into class and sat at her usual seat, in the middle on the opposite side from the door.
