Alastor was humming a joy filled tune strolling through the city of sin itself, Las Vegas.
He took a few hits from his pipe, blowing grey smoke into the faces of the people he passed.
"No purple smoke," he sighed, "Means no Gates and no Gates means no Phantoms."
He would be the only bored person in Vegas right now.....

Trois was annoyed by Vegas. There was always absolutely nothing to do nearby if you didn't gamble. He thought for a moment.
"Well, I could always find one of the riders" Trois said to himself. It would be fun to stretch his wings. Trois put on the Gryphon Ring and summoned the small PlaMonster. "Find me a good fight you little idiot!" Gryphon hesitated for a moment and Trois slapped him. "Go!" It flew away, looking for a Rider.

Alastor thought about going into a casino, but he had lost every cent of his money the night before. He just wasn't a very good gambler.
"Hmmm?" he looked up and noticed a PlaMonster flying around, "Now who do you belong to?"
Alastor grinned, it seems his boredom for today was about to come to a swift end. Other wizards are always fun to play with.

Gryphon landed on Alastor's shoulder, miming catching its breath. It was about to jump off to fly back to Trois, hesitating only for a moment. It flew off and reported back to Trois.
"Took you long enough dumbass" Trois said to the PlaMonster. It pointed a talon at Alastor. "There we are" Trois said, activating his Beast Driver.

Alastor stood there and waited for the other wizard to come to him.
He wasn't sure what kind of person he was, but he was really excited to find out.

Trois walked forward, hands in his pockets and his Driver exposed.
"I'm sorry, did my PlaMonster bug you?" Trois asked, acting a lot more polite than usual. "He gets easily distracted."

He took a quick bow, "Alastor Merlyn, The Grey Wizard."

"Trois" he said, mimicing the bow. "And yes I am. I imagine you are too?" Trois said, gesturing to the Mystic Driver.

Alastor chuckled, "Well i did just introduce myself as one, didn't I?"
He went over to Trois, kneeled down, and touched his driver.
"Interesting driver," he remarked, "It's rare to see one that isn't a hand."

"Alright then" Trois said, putting on his Beast Ring. He put it in the side of the Beast Driver, turning it. An orange-gold hexagon popped out and he walked through the seal. His suit formed, leaving him as the gold and black Lion rider. He grabbed his Connect ring, playing with it in his hand.

"I figured I should be able to detach or retract it" Trois said, starting to get wrapped up in describing his suit. "It has one though." He put on his Buffa Ring and scanned it, with the Buffa Mant popping out over his shoulder. "The capes themselves are magic."
