Many thousands of years ago, before even the dinosaurs, our humble little planet housed a civilization advanced beyond even our own today. These people lived in harmony, and were prosperous and happy. However, the other alien civilizations decided that humanity and grown too advanced and wiped this human society out, leaving behind only choice small remnants. However, 12 members of the society somehow survived. These twelve gained the power of the very stars that had destroyed them, and passed this power down to their children. These children eventually organized into "tribes" of 3 based on their elements, and each took a robot from the First Civilization and went their separate ways, eventually vanishing into the sands of time.
However, this power lives on in their descendants to this very day. And another alien confederation seeks to ensure that humanity does not grow to become a threat....
