Civvie Stuff
Name: Wylon
Age: Unknown
Sex: Male
Nationality: Alien
Occupation: "Super Transformation Monster"
Species: Sorkin (Aside from their planet of origin, the monsters have literally nothing in common, so it's not truly a species persay.)
Celebrity Claim: N/A (Sadly even his voice actor seems to be uncredited. Granted he says a total of one word in the entire series. His enemies all transitioned to live action, but as far as I know he never did.)
Hair color/style: N/A
Eyes: Green
Description: In his initial form, Wylon resembles a small cute pink creature, with a wide head and small rodent-like body. This, combined with his large and blank green eyes, rather invokes the common image of a Gray alien. He has a long tail, and tends to make cute noises.
Hero Stuff
Name: King Maira
Type Of Hero: Sorkin Monster
Henshin Device/Sequence: Wylon's eyes flash green and his skin fades into dark purple. Sharp spines raise from his back as he grows to about 10 feet in size.
Forms:
- Form Name: King Maira
Appearance: The initial form of Maira resembles Wylon, albeit far larger and purple in tone. His previously plump body becomes thinner with sharp bony ridges and spines.
Transformation: Base Form
Weapons and Abilities: Sharp claws and teeth, a dangerous mix of strength and speed. Each time he transforms into it he can make one modification. Such as a second set of claws, or an energy attack tendril. These are highly variable, though paltry compared to his original power. He is capable of taking on a Kaiju-sized form should he fight a sentai team, or Ultra, but as of yet he cannot maintain it for long, and it will force him to revert to his "civilian" form for approximitly 24 hours.
Finisher(s): Maira lacks any finishers. - Form Name: True King Maira (This form will be referred to but probably never appear, for the simple reason that he's a planet-ending event.)
Appearance: King Maira's appearance varies wildly based on his needs. His size is constantly increasing, and each time it does he can augment his body somewhat. Such as developing his energy blast tendrils, sharp spines, or more dense skin for natural armor. He always resembles his initial purple form, but tends to become vastly larger and more bulky, with multiple extra limbs for more attack options.
Transformation: King Maira, at full power, is capable of doubling his size every 90 minutes, with rapid mutations to make himself more powerful following with each. Thankfully the paralytic ray seems to have inhibited this form, and as a result he is unable to use it.
Weapons and Abilities: Rapid evolution, Energy Blasts, Full control of his mass, moderate regeneration, phasing through matter, teleportation, enormous size and strength.
Finisher(s): Maira lacks a true finisher, or any named attacks for that matter.
Other Equipment:
- None
Inside Stuff
Personality: Wylon is inherently destructive, and it's honestly a marvel that Sorkin was not destroyed by him before it exploded. Granted he may have had something to do with that. Regardless, Wylon is uncontrollable and desires to crush everything around him. However he's far from dumb, and knows when to lay low and use his cute base form to manipulate those around him. He's also a bit more merciful then he lets on, and even if he intends to destroy the world, he'll ignore someone who was previously nice to him until then. Unless they directly try anything of course. Due to being the first creatures to defeat him in battle, he's far from fond of Ultras in general, and will go out of his way to fight anyone from the Land of Light that he encounters.
Strengths:
- A master of combat tactics.
- His adorable nature makes it easy to manipulate humans.
- Extremely intelligent for a monster, even capable of very rudimentary speech in his initial form.
Weaknesses:
- Destructive for it's own sake.
- Will fight when running is smarter, even with his own tactical knowledge, especially if the opponent is an Ultra.
- Certain types of electrical energy leave him paralyzed, they're his primary weakness.
- Theoretically, he could be captured with a Battle Nizer or similar system.
History: Wylon is the final and most powerful of the known survivors of the planet Sorkin, a world of powerful beasts in the M78 Nebula. Sorkin was destroyed in a mysterious cataclysm and the surviving monsters were sealed inside of meteors which rained across the universe. Four such meteors fell to Earth. The first two contained Greenshocks and Garuballade, who were defeated by three warriors from the Land of Light, who inhabited a trio of pilots. The third survivor was Zoon, a clumsy but well meaning monster, who was saved from the military by the three Ultramen and taken to a peaceful planet. However while they were away a fourth meteor was found, far smaller then the others. While studying it, it broke to reveal Wylon. The little monster was believed to be another benign Sorkin like Zoon, and he was studied within the lab. However after 90 minutes he began to mutate and destroyed the lab, becoming the horribly powerful King Maira. The three heroes fought against him, but Maira's rapid evolution was simply too powerful. And it was said that if he could not be defeated within two or three days, his sheer mass would crush the Earth. Luckily with the help of a paralytic ray device from the lab, Maira was frozen in a force bubble and captured. However a single tentacle escaped, and with it he broke free and continued the battle. As the sun began to set, the heroes power waned, and in a last ditch effort they took Maira into orbit, recharging themselves in the process. They finally threw the monster into the sun, which they assumed would be enough to destroy him for good.
Of course as his tentacle showed, even a small piece of him was enough to remain a threat, and before the sun's gravity had taken him fully, Maira had managed to release a small cluster of his cells back to the Earth. It took time, but doubling every 90 minutes was enough to soon recreate a functional Wylon. He attempted to resume his attacks, but before he could near his original size, he was again struck with the paralytic ray. In the time it took him to reconstruct his body, the principles by which he had been bound were far better understood. Wylon was reverted to his initial form and kept for study. While he did eventually escape the long-term exposure to the energy had a lasting effect, and his genetic code seems to have been damaged. As a result, his powers are far less grandious then they once were.
Anything Else:
Sample RP:
A quiet inquisitive chirp came from a rather large crack in the wall as Wylon slipped through it and onto the ground. The world had changed since his "death" and this place was new to him. Of course aside from his destructive trek through New York, and his little view of the planet during his failed battle in orbit, he knew very little of the Earth. But be that as it may, ATLANTIS had clearly not been there when he arrived. While it had been the paralytic ray that had damaged his genome, it was quite possible that solar radiation had started the work for it. He had regenerated slowly. While he had been reduced to a cluster of cells, even then he should have revived faster then he did. Doubling every 90 minutes, well Earth had an old story about a chess board that involved that; not that Wylon had any interest in such subjects. Regardless, more time had gone by then he expected, and he had felt an unusual tug towards ATLANTIS. Perhaps because it had not existed before, and perhaps simply because his instincts saw a new and utopian civilization as just prime for annihilation. Regardless, the tiny monster kept out of sight as he darted out of the gap between buildings and onto the sidewalk.
