As he walked into the diner, Connor began to feel suspicious of some of the patrons. When most of the people were socializing, a few others sat apart from them, whispering away in a secretive manner. As one of them spotted Connor, he merely took a seat in an empty booth nearby, not giving the slightest hint of suspicion.
