There's some terminology that Interpol characters use (mostly from me), and I wanted to compile what they mean, for the sake of easy access without having to ask for definitions. - Abeyance: Interpol operatives who fail to measure up to expectations are placed in abeyance, which means they are slated to be dispatched on suicide missions (also referred to as "abeyance missions.").
- Cancel: Kill, or terminate an operative.
- Clean: To "clean" an area or situation is to kill everyone and, usually, dispose of all the evidence.
- Clean Pick: Capture a hostile without arousing any suspicions or being seen, etc., mostly among the target's associates.
- Collateral: Acceptable losses during a mission, such as civilians.
- Valentine Operative: An operative skilled at using romance or sexual manipulation to achieve a goal.
