Ray left the bar that night, having had more than a little too much to drink. Drunk? Not quite.
He looked at the remaining crystals he had. He thought of Rouki, but the point of drinking was to forget about this. He didn't care, not really. This wasn't his life to take on.

Rhett was following an intuition. Hawk had told him about some Power Animals that were sort of chillin' in this general area, and he wanted to see what was going on. So here he was, sitting on a bench, watching Ray walk along.
"He reeks of Power Animal." Hawk told him.
"He also reeks of alcohol, and looks like he can barely stand. And I can clearly see that he has a few crystals in his possession." Rhett replied.
"Well then, get in there." Hawk told him.
"I have a bad feeling about this guy. Something just isn't right about him. Call me crazy." Rhett shot back.
"You're crazy. GET YOUR SCRAWNY BUTT IN THERE!" Hawk practically yelled.
"Yeesh." Rhett accidentally said out loud.
