Fighting Fire [Nemo]

[Mavis Williams]

Synopsis: An evil Kamen Rider from the future manipulates Nemo/TimeFire and Mavis Williams/Kamen Rider Ryuki into fighting each other. Eventually the two settle their differences and team up to face the evil time traveler's invading robot army.

[[It'll just be Ryuki and TimeFire for awhile, but later i'll open it up for anyone else to join in when it gets close to the epic final battle with the robot army.]]

New York City, 2012

Mavis is a Kamen Rider. She hasn't been one for very long, but she stills she has the awesome responsibly to fight the monsters the cops couldn't possibly handle. It technically isn't vigilantism since the law doesn't mention anything about monsters so law-abiding Mavis is totally in the clear.

Right now on this foggy night, Mavis is chasing a rouge Mirror Monster she earlier stopped from attacking a pair of children on their way home.

"You can't escape the jaws of justice!" yells Mavis as she pulls out a card from her Advent Deck and slides it into her Drag Visor.

STRIKE VENT

A dragon-like gauntlet appears on her right arm.

"It's about to get hot in here!"

The Mirror Monster gets away as she stops in front on a burning building.

"Spoke too soon."

[Nemo]

Ten minutes Earlier

Nemo is a Timeranger. In her past the Timerangers were heroes that protected time from evil monsters. She hopes she can live up to that legacy. It is her mission to defeat the malicious Deus Empire and free her home, 40th Century Earth

She's sitting in a condemned apartment building right now, playing with a lighter. She can't take on the empire by herself. She needs help - a lot of it.

She stares at the small, bright flame. She loves the warmth of the fire. It's probably one of her most precious things. There is something going on inside - Nemo is startled, she drops the lighter.

It's not too long before the entire building is engulfed in flames - with Nemo trapped inside.

[Mavis Williams]

"I didn't start this!"

Mavis looks around, but the fire department hasn't caught on yet. This part of town isn't where the rich people live, so it's low on their priority list.

"I better do my civic duty and see if there's anybody in there that needs my help!"

She breaks the front door down and is met with a burning hell. She feels her face beading with sweat.

"Maybe i should turn back while i can...."

Mavis clutches his fist, nods to herself, and rushes headfirst into certain danger.

[Nemo]

Nemo didn't fear fire, but she knew it was quite capable of leaving her a burnt up crisp.

She was fully prepared to hightail it out of there when she notices an unconscious figure laying on the ground. Nemo sighs before walking over to the figure, putting her arms around them, doing her best to lift them, and finally drags him/her out of the burning building.

They weren't too far from the door so it wasn't a far drag. Nemo got a few burns here and there, but she would be fine. She wasn't so sure about the person - in red spandex...??

[Mavis Williams]

"Cough! Cough!"

Mavis slowly opens her eyes, "Where am i?"

She looks around and spots the burning building being put out by some firemen.

"Did i teleport here....?"

She then notices a cardboard box sitting next attentively next to her.

"Huh?"

It wasn't the fact that it was a box that freaked her out - it was that she could clearly hear breathing coming from it and see eyes peeking through slit holes.

"Who are you?"

[Nemo]

Nemo scuttles, on all fours, away from Mavis.

"Nobody...." she whispers, "I mean Nemo.....My name is Nemo...."
