Takes place during the movie, around the halfway point.
Jack had returned, but not to the field. He had the drive to get something done instead of secluding himself, but he was missing. He wasn't at the Foundation building, nor anywhere else that he owned, although his office remained closed and locked, as if he could be there.

Tanya was in the Foundation building getting some things for Jack, he had decided not to return to the Foundation for some time, it ached Tanya for him to abandon the team like this. But she understood why he had to do it, he was still unsure of what to do in his life now that the Void Heart was gone, so until he had a clear path she would be there to support him...even if in the end he abandoned her as well, she was a sucker for handsome men like that.
