Overview: Ash isn't just your typical egomaniacal, sarcastic ladies' man - he's the egomaniacal, sarcastic ladies' man. He considers himself a real horror geek which is perfect for his new job with the Horror Movie Aversion Agency, but he's more like a horror hipster - he likes B and cult movies (like Troll 2 and Dead Alive), but hates more mainstream horror films (like Nightmare on Elm Street and Saw). He isn't the final girl (or guy) like he was in the old days - he's a crazy awesome action survivor ready to shoot evil in the face with his Boomstick!

Henshin Device: The Scream Camera, a wrist brace that resembles a film projector worn on the left arm.
Henshin Sequence: Ash presses the button on his Scream Camera and extends his arm, shouting “Action, Violent!”. Usually he does this by crossing his arms to press the button and tossing his removed prosthetic arm aside. A stream of violet light projects backwards at him from the Scream Camera and his suit is formed from film that wraps around him. As the transformation ends he attaches his chainsaw gauntlet onto his right arm stub and declares “Violent Slasher!”

- Form Name: Violent Slasher
Image/ Description: The suit is mostly violet with gray film cuffs on the gloves and boots. Likewise there is a belt that resembles film minus the canister the other Slashes have on their belts. He has a sling on his back that holds his Boomstick. The top half of the suit is a violet jacket while the bottom is a pair of black pants. The back of the jacket has a silhouetted rabbit head, with a smaller version of the design on his lapel. The boots and gloves are violet. His helmet resembles a rabbit’s head, with two six inch high ear-like spikes. The left half of the visor is red and the right is cyan, like a pair of anaglyph 3D glasses. The mouthplate of the helmet is defined by a black line around the violet mouthplate.

Fighting Style: Lots of shooting and slashing and general badassery. Ash is unpredictable by nature and is good at utilizing his surroundings.
Weapons: Boomstick: Instead of the Blockbuster, Ash has a shotgun. It has two modes: Shotgun Mode and Grapplegun Mode.
J. Williams: Named after Ash's dead girlfriend. A chainsaw gauntlet that fits over the stub where his right hand used to be. It cuts through steel like butter.
Abilities: HUD, enhanced strength and speed. His suit gives him the power to create violet colored flames
Finisher(s): Boom! Head shot!: Fires a huge-ass fireball from his Boomstick, usually aimed for the enemies' head.
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Ash hops into the air and slashes downwards through the enemy with his flaming chainsaw. Or just skips the hopping altogether and just slashes through the poor bastard.
Mecha Name: Scream Rabbit
Type Of Mecha: Scream Zord
Image/ Description: A purple mechanical rabbit about the size of a minivan and turns into one of the smallest Megazords around, the Darko Megazord. Similar to this, but purple instead of red.
Motif: Rabbit, Horror Movie
Abilities: Rocket Propulsion for limited flight (looks like hopping), Rapid fire Punches (Megazord form only), sonic bursts fired from between the ears

History
Nineteen year old Ashley "Ash" Carpenter was your typical lives with his mom horror movie geek. He was sheepish and cowardly and worked at the local Super Mart. Despite being the way he was, he somehow managed to get a girlfriend - a co-worker of his named Jenna Williams. They were happily together for two years until that fateful 1996 night.
He, Jenna, and three friends went to stay in a cabin up in the woods owned by Ash's friend's cousin. What began as a sex filled, drunken romp turned into a bloodbath as one of his friends was possessed by a bloodthirsty demon and killed the other two unnamed friends.
Ash and Jenna managed to escape into the woods until Jenna was possessed herself. The two demons hunted Ash all the way back into town where he took refuge in the Super Mart where he worked. Ash knew he had to man up and had to man up fast. He went back into the sporting goods section, grabbed a shotgun, and starting kicking major demon ass.
He was forced to kill his own girlfriend, but he knew (from all his hours spent watching horror movies) that relationships between men and monsters never quite work out. Ash was found the next morning, shirtless and soaked in blood, by Sydney Craven and the Horror Movie Aversion Agency.
He was swiftly recruited to be a member of the Slasher Sentai Kyofuranger as the Red Slasher. He spent the next five years kicking demon ass and growing into one badass motherf*cker. His career with the HMAA came to an abrupt end when he battled an Imagin (who he believed was a demon at the time) that tore his right hand clean off and sent him flying back into the past.
He found himself stuck in the Middle Ages where he had many fun, medieval adventures eventually resulting in him becoming the ruler of a small nation. He had his own harem of wives, a metal gauntlet for a hand, and more gold than he knew what to do with. He was really living the dream...until he was dethroned during a sudden coup.
He traveled around medieval Europe for a while until he eventually hitchhiked his way back to the 21st century onboard a time traveling train. He found himself dropped off eleven years after he was sent back into the past (and he had only spent five years there so it was all confusing and timey wimey), hoping to rejoin the HMAA.
