Overview: DeZ is just a fun loving hedonist. She’s often trying to find a good laugh or just have a good time. She’s tried the tortured artist thing, and found it really didn’t suit her. As such, she tries to let too much worry her. She’ll just usually sit around either with a good beer or playing some instrument and writing a song. This does mask a fear that she isn’t good enough to be in the band. In order to justify to herself that she DOES she try to prove herself as best as she can.

Type Of Hero: Super Sentai (Rockranger)
Henshin Device: Rock Jammer, a brace on her left wrist that resembles a trumpet.
Henshin Sequence: DeZ plays the scale down on her Rock Jammer, and declare’s “Let’s Jam! Rockranger Green!” She is engulfed by green light and white soundwaves that go down from her head. She puts a hand on the headphones of her helmet as they form. The rest of her suit and helmet then forms in a flash.
Forms:

• Form Name: Rockranger Green
  Image/ Description: Wears a green helmet, with a round, black visor with markings that make it resemble a speaker, sitting above a silver mouthplate. The sides of the helmet have headphone-like modules, along with a crest that arcs around the back of the helmet like the band of said headphones. There’s a white band around the visor, around the front edge of the headphones and along the middle of the crest along the back of the helmet.
  
  Her suit is also mainly green, composed of a material that resembles leather. The top is a green, zipped up (and actually armored) jacket, with a set of white stripes that go up from her left hip to her right shoulder to resemble a music staff without notes. The shoulders of the jacket are white, leading the sleeves in white stripes to slim green bracers, with black straps. The gloves, which are black, appear fingerless, except the fingers are in green leather.
  
  Her pants are a darker shade of green, with a white stripe going down from her hips to the green and black accented boots her pants are tucked into.

  Fighting Style: DeZ mostly goes with a running and gunning fighting style, hitting enemies with kicks up close.
  Weapons: Horn Blaster, a trumpet with a folding gun handle and an extending gun barrel. It functions as a rapid-fire laser blaster.
  Beat Blade/Beat Blaster: The standard sidearm of the Rockrangers, the B-B is a sleek black laser blaster that can be converted into an energy saber with only a flick of the firing assembly to line up with the handle of the blaster.
  Abilities: Along with enhanced speed and strength, Rockranger Green can call on her RO-D, Mars, to help her Up-Tempo, accelerating her to the speed she needs to keep up with the Dischords. Her sonic attacks work best at a distance, since they are strong enough to cause damage to her if fired at too close a range.
  Finisher(s): Sonic Cascade: Can only be performed with the rest of her team. The group gathers in front of the enemy… and to put it in the simplest terms, rocks out, the combined sonic power usually proving to be enough to destroy most enemies.

Image/ Description: A green and black fighter space shuttle. It has a cannon on top of the vehicle.

Abilities: It fires pure sound two guns on its undersides and from the cannon on its back it can fire off larger blasts.

Mecha Name: Aero Smith
Type Of Mecha: RO-D
Image/ Description: A green Cerberus about the size of a Rottweiler. It can turn into a masculine robot form as well, with its main head on his chest and the others on his shoulders. He stands up as about half her height in robot mode.
Motif: Rock, Cerberus
Abilities: He helps DeZ Up Tempo, and can create sonic blasts from its three heads. He also writes lyrics for songs that DeZ writes the music to. Also, somehow he manages to ingest and be affected by alcohol.

History

Danni got her start with music in a little band called the Freerunners. She loved performing with them, even if when she started out she wasn’t that great. Originally she just sat in the background singing and writing songs, but after a while the band leader Lea decided to help her break out of her shy little shell. She tried out her hand with the drums (which failed), the bass (which went a little better), the piano (which she was good at but didn’t have a slot for) and eventually her first love, the guitar. When Lea left the Freerunners to do her own thing, she left the band in the leadership of Desiree. Well, not Danni Zimmerman she said – she left the band to DeZ Grohl.

Armed with her new stage name, she became more confident than ever before. DeZ led the Freerunners to new fame. Under her leadership she led them to fame, earning them three minor hits with Cry, Over You, and their biggest hit Last Person. One day, DeZ saw an audition notice for a band called Running Offbeat. She wanted to do something all her own, and try her luck with a new band for the new phase of her career. When she explained it to the Freerunners they were all for it, backing her up. And so with her band mates behind her, she took Silver Bulllet and went out to audition for both the position of singer and guitarist.

She bombed. Hard.

She tried as hard as she could to get over her stage fright, but just couldn’t do so on her own. She did manage to get the Freerunners signed on as the opening act for the band. DeZ resigned herself to the fate of just being an opening act, never knowing a roaring crowd screaming her name. But while on the tour Running Offbeat’s manager heard her playing a trumpet and walked up to her. He then told her that they needed a new trumpet player and the rest was history.

Sample RP: DeZ played around on a piano, trying to come up with a new song. She clumsily banged around on the keys, trying her damndest to get the melody in her head on paper. She pressed every key within reach, trying to find the next note, trying to remember the key before the song faded away forever

“Any luck?” Aero asked as he walked into the room. He kicked the door closed and walked upto DeZ, holding two bottles of Wild Turkey in his extra mouths.

DeZ shook her head, hurling her readers aside. She ignored the sound of her glasses breaking as they flew out the window of the moving tour bus and no doubt shattered when they hit the pavement. “I know the melody in my head, but it’s not coming out!” She attempted to read the notes she’d written down before realizing that she had thrown her glasses away. Aero sat down the bottles of Wild Turkey as DeZ took out another pair of glasses.

“Well maybe whiskey will help.”

“You know me so well” DeZ said as she popped the cap off. She klinked her bottle against the head that clutched the other whiskey.
