The Lost Advent Deck [Open]

[Mavis Williams]

After her not so great vacation in England, Mavis decided a change of location was in order so booked a flight and headed off to Rome, Italy.

"WOOOOOW!!!" she proclaims as her plane passes over the city and she sees the cool old buildings, "I'm gonna go to the Coliseum! YEAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!"

"Ma'am," says a flight attendant sternly, "Please stay in your seat for the duration of the flight and please keep your voice down, you're disturbing the other passengers."

"Sorry...." Mavis sits back in her seat and avoids all the dirty looks the other passengers were flashing her way. She could get a little too excited about things.

Finally the plane arrives at the Roman airport, everything seems to be going her way.....

"What do you mean you lost my luggage?!"

[Zanki]

A man was walking down the aisle of where all the plane lobbies were. A large guitar case on his back as his hands were dug deep into the pockets of his jacket. The man appeared to be around the age of earlier forties, despite that he looked relatively healthy. "So, this is Rome... I've heard things about this place; both good and bad." He mumbled to himself as he scanned his surroundings. He caught sight of a most peculiar woman, who appeared to be yelling of dismay. Figuring something bad had happened, he couldn't help but let curiosity take over his actions as he approached the scene calmly.

[Mavis Williams]

Mavis punches the wall a few times, ignoring the stares of the people around her. She couldn't believe this. Not only did she lose all her clothes and womanly products, not to mention her book on Italian law, but her Advent Deck was gone! She was absolutely positive that she was going to be roasted alive by that dragon when he finds out.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

[Zanki]

"Excuse me miss, what appears to be the issue." The man approached Mavis, clearing his throat before he spoke. His words were spoken in semi-fluent English, I say semi due to the fact he still had a bit of a Japanese accent present. He looked down at her, his eyes surprisingly gentle considering his height and 'stalwart' look to him.

[Mavis Williams]

"Those Airline bastards lost all my luggage!" Mavis growls, "And i really need a smoke!"

[Zanki]

"Hm. That's a pity. Here." The man pulled out a small box of cigarettes, shaking it until the tip of a cigarette slid out, he held it out to her. "Do you mind Japanese brand?" He asked, he had the same somewhat melancholy look on his face but he seemed nice enough. "As for the luggage--It has to turn up I'm sure. Otherwise you could probably get at the Airport for poor handling of customer luggage." He seemed to make a light chuckle at the end of this sentence. He shot a bit of a look to the attendee who was at the counter.

[Mavis Williams]

"No thanks. I quit a long time ago." Mavis reaches into her pocket and pulls out a cherry flavored sucker, "I use these instead."

She rips off the wrapper and throws it into the nearby trashcan before slipping the sucker into her mouth. She nearly faints though when the wrapper misses the can and falls onto the floor.

"This day just won't stop getting better and better," she mumbles to herself before reaching down, picking up the wrapper, and making sure it gets into its proper place this time.

She turns back to the man with the Japanese cigarettes, "Are you on vacation too?"

[Zanki]

The man nodded in response to her statement of having 'quit smoking'. He tucked the box of cigarette away into the inside of his jacket as he looked at her. "Vacation? Hardly." He responded simply, "I'm here on a... business trip, so to speak." He told her. Closing his eyes as he thought back towards the reason he was here.

Hunting.

That's right, hunting. Hunting what? Various Kaijin and other dangerous creatures around the world that were attacking innocent people. Zanki was on a personal mission to protect those whom were endangered and unable to make a stand for themselves.

[Shuya Portham]

Shuya would suddenly be recklessly flying in his Ultrabike inside the airport. "Whoooooooo!" Suddenly it crashes and a couple guards surround me.

[Zanki]

"What in the--" Zanki perked at the commotion. From afar he could see the scene of Shuya being surrounded by guards, he could tell that the man in question of suspicion was Japanese much like himself, but it was no one he knew. "I don't care." He closed his eyes.

[Shuya Portham]

Shuya would refuse to put his hands up and gets ready to fight the guards.

[Zanki]

Zanki perked, noticing this. If a brawl started between this man and the guards, it would get pretty hairy here in the Airport. No matter who came out as the victor of the brawl it wouldn't change the fact the surrounding populace would become alarmed and flee. Zanki, considering the good of the people around him, stepped away from Mavis. "Excuse me for a moment, Miss..." He spoke calmly as he walked up to the guards and Shuya.

"...Excuse me, but I have to ask you to not try to fight these men of the law." Zanki spoke to Shuya in fluent Japanese. His eyes full of sternness as he scanned Shuya quickly.

[Shuya Portham]

Shuya puts on his Ultra-glasses before responding. "Hey it's another rider. Zanki is it."

[Mavis Williams]

Mavis wasn't really paying attention to the whole incident. She was still fixing on the whole lost advent deck and getting roasted alive issue.

Her ears twitched when she head Zanki mention fighting men of the law.

"Who's trying to fight the law?!" Mavis runs over to where Zanki is, clutching her taser - one of the few items she made sure to carry on her person at all times.

[Zanki]

"..." Zanki's eyes narrowed, "So you can tell?" He raised a brow quizzically, that confirmed it, this man before him was no normal man. He then glanced over at Mavis who had approached the scene, taser in-hand. "No need to get involved, Miss." He told her softly, before glancing back at Shuya.

"I frown upon things that disturb the peace and tranquility of the people. I will have to ask that you do not try to engage in confrontation with these men. If you don't want to listen then knock some sense into you." Zanki seemed to scold Shuya as he set the guitar case on his back down to his side. Staring at Shuya intensely.
