"All right! Nine days until our 7th Anniversary!" Takamina said to the other members that were with her at the cafe across from the theater. "I think this calls for a celebration!!"
"But Takamina... Why are we celebrating nine days early?" Yuko asked.
"Yeah... it seems way too early for a celebration this big," Mariko commented.
"Well, Takamina's reasoning makes sense. Chances are on something as big as the anniversary of AKB48's first-ever performance with the original 20 members, Aki-P's gonna have us do a big performance at the theater," Kaoru told them.
"Exactly! And if Aki-P doesn't suggest it, I sure as hell will!" the rather small young woman said excitably.
"Oh right..." Mariko sighed. "You have staff power now. You can make events for us..."

"LIKE HELL!" Yuko and Kaoru both exclaimed. "We're gonna be doing just as much!"

"Not in your condition you're not, Kaoru. You'll do your part." The normally mellow voice of Sayaka Akimoto gave as she walked through. "I'll be working overtime."
Haruna flicked her hair a bit, her smile radiant as she walked through, "I'm so excited for this! Of course I'll be working hard."
Natsumi walks in casually. "Oi, count me in for whatever overtime scheme you have cooked up, I love being here."

Yuko looked at Mayu. "But Mayu. You're gonna be doing as much work as I will..." she said. "You're second, remember?"
Kaoru pouted at Sayaka. "I told you, Captain, I'm perfectly fin--" Cue the coughing fit.
Sae helped Kaoru stand straight. "Saaya's right. You shouldn't be doing much..."
Takamina nodded. "Well, we need everyone we can to make this the best anniversary ever! But first, party!"
"Not to interrupt all your grand plans, Takamina..." Mariko said cooly. "But has anyone noticed that we can hear someone tapping on the window?"
And she was right. The moment everyone quieted down, they could indeed hear something tapping on the window. The eighth floor window.

Sayaka's eyes glow yellow for a moment, before returning to her normal color. "It seeks us. Though it is...too small to cause us harm on its own."
Haruna shrugs a bit. "What is it?"
Natsumi looks on. "Shall we go find our curious little visitor?"

Kaoru walked to the window and opened it. "Relax... it's probably just some kids throwing rocks at the window..." she said before she was face-to-face with Kivat-bat the Third. "AHH! BAT! BAT!!" Kaoru shouted, trying to knock him away.
Kivat screamed, hurriedly getting away from Kaoru...

Natsumi isn't sure how to take this, and Haruna's wide-eyed.
Sighing, Sayaka gets up. "I will handle it." Her eyes glow gold as she walks over to the window's edge, holding out her hand, speaking in Saaya's voice, but with a more sage and wise tone. "Come here little one, you will not be harmed...though I do recognize you."

"Wait, this is Acchan's?" Takamina asked, suddenly growing more suspicious. "What if she sent him here?"
"No no, that's not it at all!!" Kivat cried out.
Mariko sighed. "You know what we have to do now, right?" she said, drawing out her Shinkenmaru. "I'm afraid we can't let him live!"
"W-Wait, don't you think that's a little extreme!?" Kivat shouted at the eldest AKB member.

Haruna pulls out the Ridebooker in Sword Mode. "He came for a reason....seems cute too. Let's hear him out?"
Sayaka looks at Takamina and Mariko. "If we hear him out....he'd better make it good."

"It's the cute ones that could be the deadliest, Mayuyu. You of all people should know that," Mariko said, sheathing her sword.
"Okay, then talk. Who are you and why are you here?" Takamina asked.
Kivat sighed. "I am Kivat-bat the Third of the Kivat race... My job is to act as a sort of guardian for Acchan so her Fangire heritage doesn't completely consume her."
"Well, you did a fine job of that," Sae said sarcastically. "I saw what she turned into!"
