"The kind that's going to keep you alive!" he rushed over and put his hand on Ryoga's shoulder, "Come on! Let's go back into town where's there's lots of people! There has to be a Phantom somewhere for you to consume!"

Ryoga looked at Alastor for a moment, and then turned back to the pick in the wall. "But who's gonna find the magic stone in this wall?"

"You can do that later," he pulled on Ryoga, trying to get him to stand him, "It's not like it's going anywhere."

"You never know. I've seen people run off with my prize before. Besides, this might be a ring that benefits you more than me. I can only use certain stones," Ryoga explained, picking at the wall some more.

"Okay then," he said, "You finish doing that and we'll go out, find you a tasty Phantom, and bring it back here!"

Ryoga nodded, picking at the wall. "Sounds like a fair trade. I should be done collecting the stone soon, anyways. Then we'll see who it resonates with."

"Let's GOOOOOO!" Alastor shouted, thrusting his fist into the air.
"PHANTOM TIME!" Momo yelled out in response before dashing out of the cave.
"We'll be back," Alastor grinned, "You can always count on Alastor Meryln! He's a man of his word!"
He then dashed after Momoko, leaving Ryoga alone in the cave.

Ryoga, meanwhile, went back to focusing on his own work. He slowly picked at the cave wall until he could see the traces of a white stone that shined brilliantly, clearly a magic stone.

THREE HOURS LATER
"Ryoooga!" Alastor shouted, "I'm back!"
Alastor, glad in his grey wizard robes, stepped into the mine.
"Is my ring ready yet?"

Ryoga stood up, stretching his legs as he held a large white stone in his hands. His face and clothes were covered in dirt, and the pick was lodged into the wall next to a giant hole. "I just finished taking out the magic stone. Catch," Ryoga said as he tossed it at Alastor.
(I'll leave it up to you if it reacts to Alastor or not.)
