Ryoga flicked his wrist and looked inside. "Jackpot," he said to himself, adjusting his hat again. Inside of the room was a blue stone sitting on a pedestal near another window. "Looks like we took the long way," Ryoga pointed out as he approached the stone.

Darian hmmed softly, glancing around, from the pedestal, to the rest of the room. "Doesn't it seem kinda odd someone just left one of these just... sitting out?"

"I've found stones in stranger places," Ryoga noted as he picked up the stone. There was no reaction. "Dammit..." he whispered to himself before turning to Darian. "I think this one is yours," he said, tossing the stone to Darian.

Darian blinked, catching the stone, which glowed softly, in his hands, as Carbuncle "meowed", tails swishing as he opened a magic circle with his Connect ring, and reached through, placing the stone in his shop where it'd be safe.
"Weird that it didn't react to you."

"I'm not surprised about that, either. It's rare for a stone to react to me..." Ryoga said, adjusting his hat again. He walked toward the door, and suddenly something felt off.
"Ryoga. Watch your back," Pegasus Cross noted as Ryoga nodded and started to look around.

"It feels like we've got company..." Ryoga noted, pulling out his Driver On ring. "Isn't your Phantom telling you a damn thing?" he asked as he put his hand to his waist.
"Driver On! Ready?!" the Pegasus Driver declared as it appeared, putting itself on Ryoga's waist as it hugged him tight.

"He doesn't like talking to me. Or anyone, really." Darian mutters, as Carbuncle hisses, looking down a hallway, as he slipped on his Buildring, holding it over his waist as his BuilDriver appeared, and cinched tight.
And coming down the hallway was a figure that looked semi-birdlike, a long beak serving as a "nose", and a long sword hanging at its waist, before it drew it. A Tengu Phantom.
"Not just one, but two Wizards, all for one little piece of bait... Lucky, lucky me~"

"Are all of the mages this incompetent?" Ryoga asked himself as he flipped on another ring and swiped it in front of the Pegasus Driver. "Pegasus Cross, you're eating Tengu today!" Ryoga declared.
"Horn! Pointy!" the Pegasus Driver cried out as three green circles appeared under Ryoga. A pentagram drew itself in the innermost circle and then the circles floated up, coating Ryoga's body in a brilliant silver armor. A horn appeared on the helmet, which Ryoga stroked for a second with his hand before looking over to the Tengu Phantom.

"Incompetent, what're you... oh never mind." Darian murmured, holding his ring over his BuilDriver. "Driver on! Artifice!" Underneath him, a yellow circle formed, then rose up over him, transforming him into Kamen Rider Artifice. And after drawing a ring, and slipping it on his left hand, that ring was scanned, too.
"Phoenix, Assemble!" A red magic circle formed in front of him, as parts floated out, assembling themselves into the falcon-sized PlaWeapon, that quickly swooped around onto its owner's outstretched arm.
The Tengu just chuckled, twirling its sword, before raising it threateningly. "Why don't you both just give into despair now, and save me the trouble of tearing you apart?"

Ryoga simply chuckled, putting on a new ring. "Horse that chiefly has, hero of an artificial age!" he chanted as he allowed the Pegasus Driver to activate the new ring.
"Gallatin! Shiny!" the driver declared. Nothing seemed to happen for a moment, except for the faint sound of whistling. And then, like a divine strike from the heavens, the black sword slammed its way through the roof of the building, aimed toward the Tengu Phantom.

The Tengu, at the sound of whistling, looked up, then leaped back, the sword narrowly missing it as it let out an indignant squawk. "Hey! Watch where you throw those things!"
Artifice just chuckled, swapping to a new right hand ring, which got scanned. "Phoenix!" He called, before the BuilDriver spoke up. "TRANSFORM, PLEASE!"
The Phoenix shrieked, diving from the Artificer's arm, then flipping in midair as it transformed into a one-handed broadsword, as Darian slipped the Phoenix Ring into a slot on the sword's hilt.

Ryoga ran for his sword, grabbing it just before he fired his horn at the Tengu Phantom. "Go!" Ryoga instructed Artifice as he lifted his sword from the ground.

The Tengu squawked again, deflecting the horn with its sword, before striking at Ryoga, as Artifice charged, readying his own sword.

Ryoga swung Gallatin at the Tengu's sword, parrying the attack just as his horn regrew. He aimed his head at the Tengu and fired his horn again, aiming for the Phantom's throat.
