[Messiah]

A full moon shone upon the city of Los Angeles as the party life began, people were partying and drinking away the night while Messiah walked down the street resulting in people looking at her, she wasn't dressed for a party, but more so for a normal occasion. She could never understand what it is that drives humans to party and waste their life on such events...but it did make things a little bit better for her because their darkness seems to bloom whenever they do this.

She smiled to herself as a few men tried to pick her up, but she laughed and shoved them away, they persisted as she looked at them in turn before giggling and gesturing for them to follow her. She then led them to an alley with a dead end as the men smiled gleefully, however she snapped her fingers as three black skeleton humanoids descended on them and quickly devoured the men while their screams remained unnoticed due to the loud music, "Pathetic humans, I'll devour you all soon," Messiah said coldly.

[Edgar Bookston]

"Well, that wasn't very nice..." A man walked through the alley, reading a book under a personalized book light. His head was down, and the darkness hid his face. He was wearing a tuxedo, complete with top hat, not really surprising considering the scene that he was in. "Maybe some day the humans will devour you back? Y'know, you shouldn't be so hostile with people who just want to have fun. It makes you sound a little... Inhuman..."

[Messiah]

A man's voice got her attention as it was another one of those annoying types, one that never seems to get the hint that he's not wanted, Messiah sighed, "Is that so? Well humans are pathetic creatures, their darkness is always so satisfying...it makes my subjects drool in anticipation...although you don't seem to have darkness in you...they'll enjoy devouring you," she said as the Horrors that crept up behind him tackled him before devouring his entire body as she chuckled and walked out of the alley.

[Edgar Bookston]

Edgar, not one to be taken by surprise, swiftly kicked the closest horror into a wall, before motioning his leg down to take a fierce jump behind a second one, knocking that one's head into the same wall with a swipe from his book. He then ran out of the alley way, away from the Horrors, and toward Messiah. "Y'know... That was quite rude..." he said to her as he passed her on his way out of the alley. "One shouldn't sick monsters on people, there's bad Karma in that."

[Messiah]

Well Messiah was surprised that he managed to survive the Horrors and yet remain unfazed, but she didn't want to waste time with him so she merely shrugged and walked the other way.

[Edgar Bookston]

"Ignoring people that you just tried to kill is rude, too! Besides, some people simply can't die," he hinted to her, closing his book and turning off his book light.

[Messiah]

Messiah ignored him and kept on walking.

[Edgar Bookston]

"Fine, be rude. Just for that, I won't tell you the secret of immortality," Edgar bluffed as he turned away from the demon goddess and began to walk away.

[Messiah]

"Fool I already am immortal," she said to herself before teleporting herself away from him.
