Managing to scrape through a rough battle, Zoey would finally be able to get some of the answers she'd set out to find. Though the battle took more of a toll then either she or Kamina anticipated, they could at least rest in the fact that the outcome could have been far worse.
For now, though? It was time to relax and try out another local cuisine.

Kamina, meanwhile... was just HUNGRY, striding into the kebab place like he owned in, and quickly coming back out with two bags of spicy kebabs. ... And a bottle of mayo.

Zoey hikes a brow at the mayo, watching him as he approaches. "What's with the mayo?" She motions to it. "Some sort of local thing?"

Kamina laughs as he takes a seat, passing a bag of kebabs over. "Sorta. A fried introduced me to mixing these! It's... pretty much the best food ever!" He smirks.

"Thanks..." She takes the bag, sitting down next to him. "I don't know about that. I mean, have you tried New York style pizza?" She grins a little.

Kamina shakes his head. "Nope. I like okonamyaki myself." He grins, dousing a spicy kebab in mayo, and taking a bite.

"I haven't had that, what is it?" She takes a bite of the kabob, sighing happily after swallowing her bite. "These are good..."

"It's good is what it is!" He chuckles, taking another bite. "So. Another Kamen Rider, huh? Been running into a lot these days."

"You're like... the fourth one I've ever met." She replies, eying the bottle of mayo. "Honestly... I'm a noob at this whole... thing." She gestures vaguely with her other hand.
"I'm not sure why I was picked, or who made these headphones, or how they work... or well... anything." She sighs. "All I know for sure is that I am supposed to fight in the that thing, and that we're called Kamen Riders."

Kamina nods as he eats, listening to Zoey for a few moments before he chimes in. "I can't really say I know about where your headphones came from, but I can tell you this! We're Kamen Riders, and we fight to protect people. We all might have different reasons beyond that, but that's the important part, and that for some reason, something chose us to have a higher destiny than the people around us."

Zoey nods, pausing mid-bite to speak. "Wow... I mean, I always thought it was just random chance. But... choosing a person? That puts a different spin on it. Kinda... makes you feel warm and fuzzy... and a little scared." She smiles before going back to finish her bite of meat.

Kamina smirks a little. "Why should you be scared? NOTHING can stop you from creating whatever kind of future you want. Some Kamen Riders rarely do "their job" as one, some like me it's ALL they do. It all depends on how you feel you're supposed to handle being a Rider!"
Kamina straightens up, pointing towards the heavens. "But whatever you do, never let anyone tell you how you should live your life! Because it's YOUR life, and your destiny!"

Zoey smiles, snatching the mayo bottle while Kamina's distracted mid-speech and putting some on the spicy grilled treat.
"You're right, your right... You have a point. I honestly set out to figure that out. I mean... I want to help people, I know that much. I quit my old job so I could travel and do that, but I feel like... I feel like there's more to it than that, you know? Maybe I'm just on one of those cheesy quests to find myself."
She gives him another grin, taking a bite of the spicy mayo kabob.
"This is really good..."

Kamina just grins back, crossing his arms after taking another bite of his own kebob. "Well, it's not hard to find yourself. Just look inside, and whoever's looking back, pull them out!"

"You really have an answer for everything, don't you?" Zoey teases, covering the rest of the kabob in a light layer of the creamy goodness before passing the bottle back to him. "I guess that just really leaves the whole 'fighting the bad guys' thing left... and making music."
