Kamina hms a little, dousing a second kebob in mayo before digging in. "Well..." He mutters around his mouthful of food. "Seems like y'do both at th'same time."

"Not quite what I meant, Kamina." She snickers. "I used to DJ at a club in New York City before I started this journey. I was even working on my first album, but I felt like this was more important. I mean, I'm still gonna compose and all that; but being a Rider comes first now."

"I found the Toppa Ignition, and the Core Drills in a old chamber. Was trying my hand at amateur archeology while I was still looking for my purpose in life."
He grinned, setting the Ignition on the table. "Went to sleep with Core Drill Toppa around my neck, and... when I woke up, I just knew."

"Got an anonymous present one night at the club I worked at." She motions to her headphones with a free hand. "I really liked 'em, so... I kept using them. One night these monsters attacked the club, and in the chaos, something inside my head just told me what to do; and I've been doing it ever since."

Kamina nods a little. "Sometimes that's how it goes, though. One minute you're sitting there, minding your own business, the next? BAM! Monsters and danger and you are the one to save the day!" As he finished, he pumped a fist in midair, for emphasis.

"Never thought it would be me, though..." She scoffs. "Then again, I thought a lot of other things wouldn't be me... but that's besides the point." She waves it off with the same free hand as before. "I guess there's nothing left to do other than what we Riders do best!"
