Rebecca sat in a booth at a local New York steakhouse. As it turned out, it was her seventeenth birthday today. That said, she wasn't sure she really cared. She took a sip fo her Coke quietly.

"I'm telling you, 21st century food is probably the best stuff on the market." Courtney said as she and her brother walked in. "I don't know what they put in it, but it's good!"
"Chemicals, additives and a bunch of other things that are considered hazardous to health." Oliver pointed out.
"Oh, lighten up, Ollie! I've seen you eating those candies!"

Rebecca was about to just up and leave when she heard a familiar voice. She looked around, trying to place the voice.

"Hey! That was my little secret!" Oliver protested. "If we're in a time where chemicals in food is not only legal, but encouraged, I say we exercise that."
"And yet you were protesting about my eating it not half a minute ago!" Courtney raised her eyebrows.
"I was just talking about what was in the food." he replied.
"Yeah, right."

Rebecca finally realized where she had heard the voice from when she saw Courtney.
"Courtney!" Rebecca said, calling her over.

"Mm?" Courtney turned and saw the other time traveler beckoning her over. "Rebecca!" She smiled, dragging Oliver over. "Small world, huh?"
