Koyomi didn't like the cold. It reminded her of traveling aimlessly and being exposed to the elements all day and night. The difference now was that she had somewhere to go, and she had a companion with her in the form of the cat, Kiya, which she carried in her arms.

She wasn't sure what she was out for, but maybe she just wanted time away, time alone.
