Suzuki sat at the counter of his store. He was still recovering after the battle a few days earlier, as he had gone pretty far over his limit of mana and needed a few days to recover his ability to even store mana. He had given Kouta a day off, as he didn't expect to need to be called out. If an Infershia beast showed up, he would just have to hope that another hero showed up to fight it. Hell, you couldn't swing a dead cat in this country without hitting someone with some sort of superpower.

The door was heard opening as Rikka stepped into the store. She looked kind of lost, as if she wasn't sure where she was. She was wearing her usual outfit of a white cashmere sweater as well as a pair of jeans. Clenching her hands to her sides, she then noticed Suzuki and a look of relief came onto her face. "Ah, good, I didn't get lost." She sighed of relief under her breath as she gave Suzuki a smile, "So... how are you holding up?" She first asked as she approached the counter.

"I can't even so much as create heat. This must be what the commoners feel like every day." Suzuki said jokingly.

Rikka giggled some, "I'm sorry to hear, truly a first-world problem for you." She joked. "I'm sorry I couldn't return enough Mana the other day." She seemed to still feel guity.

"Don't feel bad. I really outdid myself summoning a damn firestorm to defend you." Suzuki said. "I did that knowing full well I'd be knocked out of commission."

"But you didn't have too, I could have just finished him off with my Diamond Dust!" She argued, raising her tone only slightly before she bit her lip and looked aside.

"And you would have wasted the mana I gave you, and most likely over stretched yourself. I am the son of Heavenly Saint; my body is far more capable of handling the strain of overstretching mana." Suzuki replied calmly.

She closed her eyes out of annoyance, he had a point there. She wanted to argue about why he'd even care but he had just told her that she would've have wasted his mana. She opened her eye lowly as she glanced at him, "Before, you were also claiming you were a Heavenly Saint as well. Normally I'd uphold disbelief for such a thing, but considering things have been I suppose I should feel honored." She scoffed lightly, before her eyes opened more and she made a bit of a smile. "Irregardless, about earlier, thank you. You saved me twice technically." She leaned on the counter a bit, making a bit of a faint giggle.

"I only seem to remember the instance from the other day. Remind me as to the other time I saved you." Suzuki asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm talking about the same day, there were two times you came to my aide. Once you actually saved me, and then the other time when you shared your mana with me also counted." She scoffed.

"The mana sharing was really more of an act of general friendliness, but I do suppose that counts as saving you. Who knows what would've happened had I not done that. So, I suppose this is where I say you're welcome."

She giggled some, "You really don't have too. You've already said to me, with your actions." She said as she closed her eyes and leaned against the counter with her side.

Suzuki snickered a little bit, but suppressed it fairly quickly. The cliche rating on her reply was almost off the charts.

She perked, catching his chuckle, feeling as if she weren't taking her seriously. "What's funny..!"

"It's just that your previous statement was really, really cliche."
