There was a massive magical reading in the city. Harrison was heading in, to deal with it. The first thing he noticed, and that everyone else noticed, were the trees. A small forest seemed to have appeared almost overnight, right in the Bellagio fountains and spreading beyond. Harrison went in to check it out, Driver and Flame Rings on. Inside, Cain stood in a clearing in the dead center, feet planted and cane planted in the ground in front of him. Jennifer, in her Phantom form, sat on a tree branch in the tree behind him. He waited patiently for challengers. Back outside, a man stood, waiting. He was dressed in combat boots, jeans, and a t-shirt, which did little to conceal his bulging muscles. He had his platinum blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail by a green ribbon, and he watched Harrison enter the grove with piercing green eyes. |

"Alright, what are trees doing here?" Tristan asked himself. Just to be sure, he moved his hand in front of his face a few times. He definitely wasn't drunk. This was magical. Where it was coming from, or who was casting it, was a matter waiting to be discovered.

Harrison was working his way through the trees, ready to fight.
"Three mages incoming. There's another magical force, an incredibly powerful one, but I can't quite identify it." Cain said.
"We should still be ready for a fight." Morrigan said.
"Please. I can beat three mages with one hand tied behind my back. It's this other force that worries me." Cain replied, a disdainful smirk on his face.
The man watched, brushing his hair out of his face with his right hand. The hand seemed to be made of silver, glinting in the sunlight.
"My heir." He said simply, before entering the grove.

As Will walked, he felt like he wasn't alone. He fingered a knife and started to walk more warily.

"Trees, trees, everywhere." Tristan mused. "And not a drop to drink." He was thirsty.

"This was the Bellagio fountain too. I guess the trees drank up all the water." Harrison said, approaching Tristan from behind and handing him a bottle of water.
"They're getting closer." Cain said, twirling his cane with one hand. "This will be fun."
The man walked, a sword materializing at his left hip and small buckler shield materializing strapped to his left arm.

"Well, let's head in and see what we can find." Harrison said, walking further in.
The man stopped just before the edge of the clearing, making sure to be at a different point than the path the other mages were approaching from. He waited.

"Well, they're regular trees. The amazing thing is that they're here, in the middle of the desert." Harrison said. "Druidic magic is amazing. I've been studying it recently, though I'm not nearly this strong. We should find who did this. They could teach me a thing or two."

"I'm guessing it wasn't a normal Druid" Anna said as walked up. "There would have to be at least a few to do this much." She put on her Monkey ring, knowing that power over plants would come in handy in a forest.
