Rei skidded around the corner to face the newest threat to the city.
"Ah, Leviathan. Welcome, welcome." The Megalodon Mirage said, smiling a toothy, psychotic grin. Rei gritted his teeth and charged, but as soon as he got within about ten feet of the beast, he suddenly felt as if the sky had dropped on his shoulders. He fell to one knee, trying to move, but failing.

Storm and Mira were out, but had separated for now, putting Mira in closer proximity to Rei. As soon as she got close, she stumbled and fell, her body being far weaker and less capable of withstanding the pressure. She was barely in sight, able to see Rei.

Rei sensed her presence, and summoned all of the strength of his body, throwing himself backward and into an area where he could move normally. He turned and sprinted towards where Mira was, helping her to her feet.
"You need to leave. Now. Where's Storm?" Rei asked.

"You've fallen in love with a human, have you?" The Megalodon asked.
"I don't love her, I just have common decency and honor." Rei said.
"Honor? If you insist, let's make this fair." The Megalodon said, snapping his fingers and dispelling the field of heightened gravity.
Rei pulled out the Whirlwind, placing it on his waist and positioning himself between the Megalodon and Mira. "Go!" He yelled to her as he pulled out the Gale Emerald.

She nodded, "I'll find Storm," she told him, turning and running down the pathway.

"Calling for help? How very dishonorable of you." The Mirage said.
"Spare me that bullshit. Henshin." Rei said, transforming into Gale Emerald and bringing the Shotzers into a ready akimbo position.
"Make me, O Great Leviathan." The Megalodon said, producing a gigantic double-bladed battle ax.

As Mira ran through groups of people, pushing past them, she finally found her brother and grabbed his arm.
"What is it?" he asked.
"Mirage," she said.
"Where?"

"I could flatten this city if I were half as strong as I used to be." The Megalodon said.
"But you're not, and that's what matters." Rei said.
"Enough talk. Lets see if I can't kill me a legend!" The Megalodon roared, charging at Rei.

Storm walked towards the two, water already transforming him mid-step.

"Lovely timing." Rei said, leaping over the charging monstrosity and hitting it point blank in the back of the head, both Shotzers set to Brutality so it was hit with two shotgun blasts, sending it tumbling forward. "This one has quite a power, so I'd watch out."

He nodded, running for it and leaping into the water, driving under, then shooting up, water spiraling around him as he kicked at its side.

"You call backup, so I can abandon your honor!" The Mirage yelled, stomping it's foot and increasing the force of gravity around it almost tenfold. Rei dropped to a knee, using one of the Shotzers to prop himself up.

After his kick, Storm fell back into the water, the pressure forcing him under.

The Shotzer clattered across the pavement as Rei's hand was forced down, punching into the earth.
"Now, we execute a traitor." The Mirage said, walking towards Rei. Rei grimaced, forcing his hand deeper into the ground as a slight glow began to emerge from the hole.
