Description: Rikki is very short. She is 5'0" at the most which causes enemies to underestimate her. She makes up for it in speed and ferocity. She has pale skin, brown hair, hazel eyes and delicate features. She is a tomboy and her fashion choices usually consist of jeans, old sneakers or skate shoes, a t shirt, and a hoodie or a flannel. She usually doesn't wear a lot of make up but it's not uncommon to see her with a smudge on her face or hands from whatever her last art project was. She almost never leaves home without some sort of hat, usually her lucky cadet cap. Almost every article of clothing she owns, but mainly her jeans, are covered in paint, marker, or charcoal pencil.

Morpher /Sequence: she takes her power morpher with both hands and thrusts it in front of her and shouts "Dinosaur Power, Activate!" The suit then materializes around her body and the image of a pterodactyl folds itself around her head forming her helmet
Description of Ranger Form: Rikki's ranger form includes a pink and white helmet with a pterodactyl motif and a silver mouth piece. Her suit is pink with a white diamond pattern and her gloves and boots are white with a pink diamond pattern. The suit is then completed with a belt that uses the power morpher as a buckle.
Other Modes: glider mode, when activated it forms wings from extra cloth that allow for low level areal attacks and gliding, when activated with a running jump and the call out "Glider Mode" (think wild force/gaoranger yellow's wings)

Personality: Rikki is a shy introverted tomboy. She is very kind though although she isn't very social at times. Most of the time she prefers just to relax by herself and draw, paint, read, or listen to music instead of going to a party. However she is a kind and loyal friend when you get to know her. However she is pretty easily provoked by certain things and gets mad easily, especially when her height is mentioned.
She also has quite a few quirks and strange habits. She is superstitious, she almost never leaves the house without her lucky cap and when she can't find it in the morning she freaks out. The hat was a gift from her dad and because of that she likes to keep it with her. She also has a fear of needles and shots from when she was a child that she never got over. She is passionate about art and painting and has a guilty pleasure for movie musicals.
She is very devoted to her family and loves them very much, especially her little sister who she is really protective of. It's because of this that she fights so passionately as a ranger, to protect her family and other innocent people and keep them safe, she is determined not to lose the battle between good and evil. She always fights her hardest and looks for ways to get stronger and overcome the disadvantages due to lack of strength and size.

History: Rikki Lockwood, born Erica Lockwood, is the middle child of Evan and Cynthia Lockwood, a lawyer and a teacher. Rikki has two siblings, an older brother named Mike and a little sister named Bree. They were a happy family for a while as far as Rikki was concerned, then the fighting got really bad and the next thing you knew Evan and Cynthia were getting divorced.
It seemed to happen in the blink of an eye for Rikki, one minute they were happy, and suddenly they couldn't stand each other, it felt wrong, it wasn't fair. Why her family? What went wrong? What Rikki didn't know was that things have been going wrong for a long time, the parents tried to hide the problems from their kids and stay together for their sake, but everything has its breaking point and after a while they couldn't keep pretending. So the parents split. The kids lived with their mother during the school year and they lived with their father during the summer.
It was hard for Cynthia, raising three children by herself and working a full time job, so her children had to step up to the plate. Rikki really stepped up to help out her mother, she helped take care of her little sister and did a few extra chores around the house. As a result Rikki didn't have much of a social life or a lot of friends her age. However she found relief in her artwork, letting any stress or emotion out onto the paper.
Aside from the divorce she was just a normal average kid, till one day a strange man approached her on her way to pick up her sister. She assumed he was some crazy guy because the things he was saying made absolutely no sense, he kept trying to give her this weird box and a coin saying something about power and protecting people, but it made no sense. The things he was saying were impossible, I mean that stuff couldn't happen. It was some kind of joke, a prank. Even if it was true why her? She was just a tiny little teenage girl, she wasn't tough or the hero type, she was a kid. Still something about it tugged at her mind, it didn't seem possible but something instinctively made her take what the man gave her. It felt warm in her hands, like it somehow felt right. She didn't know what to think, then the next day strange creatures were attacking a playground and her mind flashed back to the items from the strange man. She grabbed the box, remembering the words the man taught her and she morphed, and to her surprise she actually transformed and had the power needed to fight the monsters. From that day onward Rikki was a power ranger, a warrior living a double life, unknown to her family and friends. She dedicated herself to the team and her ranger duties, she was a high school student by day and a super hero by night, and a whole new adventure was just beginning.
Anything Else: this is my first character here and I'm still trying to get a feel for how the board works, but I saw some things were changed so I let myself get a little creative with the rangerness.
Sample RP: Rikki smiled to herself as she finished the final brush stroke of her picture. It had been calling to her for the past few weeks asking to be painted. The picture was of a pterodactyl in flight, soaring over the treetops with a sunset in the background. She had been dreaming of that image since her first battle as a ranger. It still made her laugh sometimes, it seemed so impossible, so unbelievable. Especially since she had the color pink, she was the resident tomboy, before becoming a ranger she was never that fond of the color pink, but it soon grew on her, the more she started accepting her role as a ranger and really coming into her own. It was far fetched but something about it just felt right.
"RIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGG" the sound of the eight period bell sounded alerting everyone to the end of the school day. Rikki then began to pack up her things and headed out towards the elementary school so she could watch her sister Bree's soccer practice and be able to walk her home. Mike had the car that day so they had to walk, luckily the elementary school wasn't far, and she could probably use the exercise. However when she got to the soccer field by the elementary school she was greeted with an unexpected sight. She expected to see fifth graders laughing and having fun playing soccer, however there were still fifth graders running around but those weren't shouts of joy they were shouts of fear and panic.
Rikki gasped, right in the middle of the field amongst terrified children, parents, and coaches was one of King Sphinx's monsters. "Oh no, not here, why did it have to be here?" Rikki thought to herself. Her one fear since becoming a ranger was something happening to her family. The monster looked right at her and advanced towards her. Rikki quickly felt around for her morpher when a familiar girl's voice stopped her. "RIKKI!" It was the shout of her little sister Bree. Rikki was at a loss, she couldn't morph here, not in front of her sister and all these people, but she couldn't let them get hurt either. "BREE, go home! Run get help!" Rikki cried out playing the part of a frightened civilian, she may not be able to morph but maybe she could buy time for Bree and the others to escape. The monster laughed at her "Looks like your all out of luck pinky" Rikki knew her next move was suicidal but in that moment she knew she didn't have a choice, and she began to charge towards the monster.
