Rose Tyler had no clue that this day would change her life forever, sitting at her desk at Torchwood 1, sipping a drink her father had recently made. It was a good drink, but there was something that rubbed her the wrong way. It had been quiet for exactly one day. It had been exactly one week since the man she loved returned her to this world. It was exactly one week after she came home with a copy of the man she loved. Speaking of which...

"I'm going to get lunch," a man said peeking his head into Rose's office; he was tall, skinny, and had great hair, really great hair, "Do you want anything?"

"Some chips would be nice, Doctor," Rose said with a smile and the man nodded.

"Chips for the beautiful lady it is, then," the doctor said smiling back at her before tucking his head behind the door, closing it behind him. Rose sighed and her smile faded. Paperwork was piling up on her desk from a couple of recent alien troubles resulting in the London Eye falling down (which was now back up) and an incident with a few Slitheen. She hated the paperwork, and was procrastinating. Perhaps she could get the doctor to help her once he came back with some chips. She still wasn't sure what to make of him. He seemed so much like the man she knew, but she couldn't help but think that he was a copy of the man she loved.

CRASH! She was thrust out of her thoughts by glass breaking behind her, where a window was at before. She turned to see a man had flown through the window and stood up. A large black bird twice the size of the two of them came swooping forward through the window breaking the wall. The man pointed something at the bird, flashing a bright green color at the bird before it fell. The man turned towards Rose and smiled, his face cut all over by the glass, looking like he was about to fall over.

"H-Hello," the man said as Rose rushed to hold him up, "I'm the doctor."
