Description: Rei is often describe as very gorgeoues with high cheekbones and graceful movements. Usually seen in her miko robes, all of her outfits have at least white or red in them.
Rider Stuff
Name: Mars
Henshin Device/Sequence: The Mars Driver is a golden metal belt with a red orb in the middle. When the port above the orb is inserted with the Mars Switch, a red crystaline astroswitch with the astrological Mars symbol, a voice would announce "Mars Power." The two wings on either side of the globe are initially set pointing up. They are then pushed down into a verticle position. With that, the red orb spins and fiery rings cover Rei then disperse to reveal Kamen Rider Mars.
Forms:
- Mars:
Appearance: A body suit with hard pieces on the upper torso, shoulders, elbow area and feet. The soft part is all white while the hard parts are red with gold trim. The helmet is entirely gold except for a fiery-looking translucent red dome over large purple eyes.
Transformation: This is her base form.
Weapons and Abilities: Mars has the standard increased strength and speed. Rei can also use Akuryo Taisen, which exorcises lesser evil spirits and paralyses stronger ones. Because Akuryo Taisen is an ability instrinsic to Rei, she can use it outside of her transformations and in any of her forms.
Finisher(s): Fire Soul - By pressing the Mars Switch while it is docked, Mars can unleash a powerful blast of fire for either a powered-up melee or a ranged attack. - Mars Crisis:
Appearance: The white body suits becomes dark purple. Mars's arms are now completely armoured. The foot armour now extends to just below the knee with a V-shaped flare. A short battle skirt is also gained. These armour pieces remain red but now have a gold trim. The translucent face plate turns purple and the shape resembles a star burst. The eyes shift to red.
Transformation: Crisis form is initiated by inserting the Crisis Switch in place of the Mars Switch and then making the globe on the Mars Driver spin. The Mars Driver would announce "Mars Crisis!"
Weapons and Abilities: Mars now has the ability to see far distances and in darkness, as well as generate heat and fire from her body. She also gains the Mars Recurve and the Mars Warbrace. In Slasher Mode, it is a double-bladed sword with a gold hilt and red curved blades each facing opposite directions. When the Mars Switch is inserted into the end of Mars Warbrace, which is a golden plate with Mars symbol pointing handward fixed onto the inside of her right forearm, one of the blade turns so that both are facing inwards, forming Sniper Mode. A single fire arrow also forms on the Warbrace.
Finisher(s): Flame Sniper - By activating Sniper Mode, Mars takes aim and then presses the Mars Switch. The fire arrow, made up of concentrated heat so dense it is almost solid, will then launch forward.
Burning Mandala - By pressing the Crisis Switch while it is docked on the Mars Driver, eight balls of fire appear in a circle in front of her. They are then launched at the enemy. They can also act as shields. - Mars Princess:
Appearance: Mars is now completely covered in red armour with gold trim at the joints, complete with a long battle skirt. The middle third of her form, from the neck down, is pink however. Her face plate is now pink and resembles the sign of Mars. In addition, she now has a golden two-tailed scarf.
Transformation: Princess form is initiated the same way as Crisis Form, but with the Princess Switch. The Mars Driver would announce "Mars Princess Awaken!"
Weapons and Abilities: Mars can now levitate and has better fire manipulation than in Crisis.
Finisher(s): Mars Princess Artillery - By pressing the Princess Switch, Mars creates a minature star and launches it as a beam.
Other Equipment:
- Mars Switch - Besides its use as offensive uses, it can teleport its holder to the Ravens Nest by being pressed while not inserted.
- Crisis Switch - Used to activate Crisis form.
- Princess Switch - Used to activate Princess form.
- Ofuda - Shinto charms. Rei uses those written with the words "Akuryo Taisen" as weapons.
- Machine Marsailor - Mars's personal bike which resembles the Massigler and Meteorstar but with an arrow and ship-like motif.
- Ravens Nest - A base on the planet Mars which contains holographic recordings of Mars's history as well as equipment which maintains Mars's arsenal. Occasionally, it may pop out an astroswitch.
Inside Stuff
Personality: Rei is entirely serious about everything. Ironically, she gets snarky when dealing with people who don't take serious things seriously. Because of her psychic powers, most people are afraid of her and she has grown accustomised to becoming a loner. These two traits together make her distrusting of most people.
Strengths:
- Is a psychic and can perform fire readings, communicate with spirits, use ofuda spells, and receive premonitions.
- Is good at archery.
- South paw.
Weaknesses:
- Poor melee technique, relying only on Mars's strength to get by.
- Unable to sustain Mars Crisis for long.
- Bad at coordinating attacks with others.
History: Rei was not an ordinary girl growing up, being a psychic whose powers are known to everyone because of her work as a miko. Sometimes, she would dream about distant planets and a fiery warrior. These dreams were sparse at times but became more frequent as she turned 16. One day, strange monsters invaded her school. While everyone was knocked unconcious, Rei was able to fight on thanks to the monsters being made with evil energy. Nevertheless, there were too many and she was cornered on the roof. It was then that her childhood pets, Phobos and Diemos, flew to her with a crystaline device in her talons.
Trusting her instincts, she pressed the switch and was transported into a strange high-tech base. There, she learned through holographic records that she was on the Ravens Nest, an ancient stronghold on the planet Mars from the time of the Silver Millenium. As it was told to her, the solar system was once ruled by a Queen Serenity from the Moon. This interplanetary empire was known as the Silver Millenium, named for a device powering the Moon's technologies known as the Silver Switch, an astroswitch gifted to the Moon People by the Presenters filled with infinte Cosmic Energy. To protect the Moon Princess, a warrior from four planets were recruited as Guardians, each one given a driver and astroswitch corresponding to their home planet's powers. However, this time of peaceful wardenship ended when a being of evil energy called Metalia appeared and a great war was fought. In the end, Metalia was sealed underneath Earth but the war has left the Silver Millenium shattered. Afraid that Metalia would rise again, Queen Serenity used the Silver Switch to change the Guardians into beings of Cosmic Energy which would reassemble into a physical form in time. Rei, it seems, is the reassembled Mars Guardian.
The monsters which attacked her school, deformed metallic and stone-like humanoids, were called Droids and they were the foot soldiers of Metalia's cult. The fact that they know walk indicates that Queen Serenity's fears were confirmed. There, Rei takes up the mantle of her past life and makes it her personal mission to find the other Guardians so that they may prevent the second coming of Metalia. As she fought, she discovered the name of the organisation. The Dark Kingdom led by a woman styling herself as Queen Beryl. Rei's battles with Beryl's minions has caught the attention of the public lately, and they have took to calling her 'Kamen Rider Mars'.
Anything Else: She's has two crows named Phobos ans Diemos as pets. They're unusually intelligent, even for crows. As of now, she has neither the Crisis nor Princess Switches.

Sample RP: Rei has been here many times. This land where the soil is red and where the rivers flow plentifully. Where the people go through their lives without a care in the world. It is all so familiar, yet Rei cannot remember when she has came here nor the name of this place.
Suddenly, the crystal clear skies are obscured with a cloud of eerie darkness. It is an aura of pure evil, Rei realises, and it makes her shiver so violently she can even feel it in the marrow of her bones. The redness of this land is now gone, given away to the invading blackness, until her surroundings spontaneously flare in flames.
Just as heat rises, her body becomes light and she starts floating away. Before the flames become a mere memory, she spots a warrior in red and white standing in the eye of the inferno.
At that very moment, Rei jolts up from her bed. Her skin is sticky with hot sweat and her eyes are wet. Are they tears? She asks herself. This sense of tragedy... Why am I feeling it?
