Overview:
Kengo is a brilliant mind, but someone who can be easily motivated by revenge. He chose to fight for Foundation X when his intelligence was tested and overcome by a peer, and his body began to become too weak to serve him. His intelligence ranges from technology to history to other school subjects. He can be cold, distant, and an ass, and usually is to pretty much anyone he encounters who he feels is beneath him. He sees his reason for joining the Foundation as one out of necessity, even if he only truly joined to show his power when he has a body that works.

  Abilities: His staff can turn anything into stone. He can copy the Cosmic Energy of any foe he faces, copying their form and powers. The Zodiarts Switch records data of these transformations. As the scale zodiac, he can take matter from one location and switch it with another of equal matter, creating teleportation to mess with his enemy, and can also negate attacks that come for him by offering up some of his power in exchange. As a Horoscope Zodiarts, he has incredible power in his own right, exceeding some Riders in power, making him more than just an ordinary monster; making him a general class enemy. His robe diminishes his power; casting it away gives him full range of combat.

History

Kengo was born with problems. He wasn’t born early, but he was born with a sickness, and his young immune system wasn’t able to completely fight it off. He was doomed to be weak as he grew up, and indeed, was and is weak of body. There was nothing that could really be done about it.

He grew in the mind, instead of the body. He focused on becoming a genius among his peers, and succeeded. He was smarter than pretty much all of them, exceeding things that would be learned in school, and being happy about it. But his body was getting worse.

He was approached by a man named Kyoji, a representative of Foundation X. He offered Kengo a new body, and presented him with the Libra Switch, as he believed Kengo has potential, even if he wasn’t embodying the Libra. Kengo took it and allied himself with the Foundation. His parents had died in a car accident, he was alone. He chose to join and fight for the Foundation.

He was made into the leader of the group of five Horoscopes that acted as enforcers for Foundation X, and oversaw their Switch development and research in the field. He dubbed them as Star Acolytes at that point.

Overview:
Kyoji is an outwardly expressive man, and extrovert. He’s intellectual, full of ideas, a thinker, and someone who enjoys interaction with others. Being social and an intellectual are what he prides himself on, along with smaller things, such as dexterity and agility. He likes to be detached, and not emotionally invested. He finds annoyance and discomfort from strong emotional expressions, or deep emotions and deep conversations, preferring to have everything out in the open. He’s a shallow man, and lacks loyalty or commitment. He’s a good writer and good at reporting, adapts easily to situations, and is quick and clever. He enjoys communication, but doesn’t like scheduled meetings or events. The scheduling is what he doesn’t like, though he likes the events.

History

Kyoji was born to a physicist and a stay at home mother. He had one brother who was born a year before him, whom his mother stayed at home to take care of. His brother died of a flu when he was six, and Kyoji five. His father stayed to console his wife, but she committed suicide.

His father was driven to work harder and still try to be a good father, unable to even try to find another woman. His father ended up dying when Kyoji was seventeen and finishing high school. He ended up going through college alone, having money from his father’s job at least. He did odd jobs to get by in the meantime.

He did well for himself, and ended up working at a university, doing a little teaching on physics, since he had learned from his father. Granted, he was no teacher, but he got some money by speaking to students on behalf of the school.

He was sought out by Foundation X, and he used his knowledge to help them with some of their goals. Eventually, when the Switches were developed, he was made into Gemini, as he was a perfect match. He was the first, and given the task of finding others with the Switches he was provided.

He would later find Kengo Utahoshi and give him the power of Libra, feeling he fit, even without the formal requirements. The two would later go on to find the others, and become known as the Star Acolytes.

Overview:
Sasuke is fiercely independent, and doesn’t give up. He likes to think he can solve anything he puts his mind to, but in life that’s not always the case. He just doesn’t give up, however. He likes to be on his own, but that can’t be helped sometimes with the Acolytes. He’s loyal, passionate, resourceful, observant and dynamic, and likes those traits in others, while he hates those who are jealous, obsessive, suspicious, manipulative and unyielding.

History

As a child he always thought he’d become a doctor or a leader in something. But things didn’t go as planned, and something happened. He remembers only that much of childhood, and has recently found himself on the streets, in rags. He was approached by Kyoji who could feel potential in him, radiating from the Scorpio Switch, if only thanks to Libra’s power.

Brought in by the Foundation, Sasuke was given a life in their ranks, shelter, clothes, food. He was able to live. He was given his name then, as nobody was sure who he was. He didn’t want to know, as he enjoyed what he was now, as a Horoscopes. He proved to be a skilled fighter and someone who could be worthy of his position.

He had problems with Foundation X’s methods at times, but the Acolytes mean he doesn’t have to deal with it as much, and he’s fine with that, as their warrior.

Overview:
Not fond of change, taking things personally, he might seem like someone who isn’t cut out for the job, but he is. This is what the ideal Taurus should be. He makes up for things by being strong and independent. He can always be depended on, and is always persistent over important matters. He’s loyal to the group, generous to the others, and patient, so he can get things done. He has some laziness, but is usually able to overcome it with few problems. He’s an excellent friend and ally to the others, and will always do his best for them. He will always be the one to keep hope alive, and never quits.

History

Nicholas had a bad childhood. His father was abusive, and his right leg was rendered fairly useless by age five. But he pushed on and persevered. He used a cane at that point and still uses it, when he could have his leg amputated. It might be easier, but he doesn’t want that. He went through school with people knowing about what happened, but his father was never arrested. He killed himself by drinking too much. Liver failure.

As he continued with his life, he never lost his outlook and perseverance. He went into business with an old friend of his and they did rather well for themselves, but a fire ended that. After escaping the fire while his friend didn’t, he was going to go back in, when he was restrained by Kyoji as Gemini. He gave Nicholas the Taurus Switch and told him to use it. Becoming Taurus he rushed in and saved his friend, but was indebted to the Foundation, and the Acolytes. He joined their ranks as Taurus, but vowed to return to his friend.

The Foundation altered records. He’s presumed dead in the fire.

She’s adventurous and likes to be the center of attention. She actually is a rather effective leader when she gets her chance, and is confident in her role when she is. Enthusiastic about the goal, and with a love of the hunt, she wants more than she gets, and loves that philosophy. Impulsive, usually acting without thinking, she sometimes ends up regretting it.

History

Cara was born in a rather stable household. For years she noticed tensions between her parents, mostly over their riches. Her parents were both involved in something she never quite got in business. Due to the arguments of her parents later on, when she was about seven or eight, she didn’t get spoiled, as they wouldn’t buy her things to spite the other. This may be where her problems with relationships comes from.

When she got her high school education her parents divorced. She had money though for college, as her parents stopped seeing her, presumably to spite the other once again, somehow. She never got it, but knew she wasn’t being ignored. She was eighteen, and on her own.

She went into college and was going to go into business. She studied for a few years until being approached by Nicholas. He gave her the Switch for Aries, deciding to spite the Foundation with this choice. However, she turned out to be a match for Aries. It seemed the stars had led to this choice as being the correct one.

With the Acolytes assembled, they were ready to be deployed by the Foundation.

The five of them each lifted their Switch as they walked, each one pressing it as one. Stars of five different designs flew out, the Switch mixed within the Cosmic Energy, mixing around and forming into a new body.

Kengo became Libra, discarding his cloak. He had an insectoid body with a scale motif among his head. He looked at his staff, “I don’t need this,” he said, not amused that someone might have thought he’d need it for walking. He was strong now.

As Gemini, as the jester-like body formed for Kyoji, he looked at himself, “I can work with this. I’m not a clown fan, but it’s a fine body.”

Sasuke assumed the form of the scorpion, casting his cloak aside. He looked at himself, at the claws on his arms, “I like this,” he said, lashing out a rapid kick, “Such speed, and power…”

Nicholas was happy to no longer need his cane. He looked at his staff and discarded it. He was a brute, strong, powerful. He glanced at Kyoji. He blamed that man for his problems. But he was strong now. He could deal with him, he was sure.

And finally there was Cara. As she assumed the regal form of Aries, she looked at herself, “I’m not a woman? Oh well,” she looked at her staff weapon in hand and cast it aside, “Heavy. Why is my body like this? There has to be some better way.”

But even with the potential problems, here they were. The Acolytes. The enforcers of Foundation X’s will.
