A rider from another world; Ken is the castoff husk of that world’s greatest evil, a snake of a man in every sense of the word. That snake bastard took the emotion and memories with him, leaving Ken completely empty.
Ken, therefore, is quite literally a husk. He fights, and finds purpose in using his power for what he was taught he should; To help those who have none. He fights because without that he has no purpose.
Hero Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Λ (Pronounced Nil)
Type Of Hero: Biological Kamen Rider, Antihero
Henshin Device: None
Henshin Sequence: Nil’s transformation sequence has only a simple, prayer-like stance followed by thrusting both arms forward and forming two fists, finger to finger, then shouting “Henshin!” The transformation itself is generic flashing lights and magatama shapes, as the armor fades into view.
Forms:
- Form Name: Husk Form
Image/ Description: Biological rider with jagged, insect-like armor. Large black eyes and tan armor over a much darker tan background. All armor seems to be attached at all points to surface, lending to the idea of an exoskeleton. Jagged lines are common, including a V-shape at the bottom of the chest armor, and the forearms and shins are raised, giving the illusion of gloves and boots. The toes of the feet are split like Tabi, allowing for greater range of motion in that area. Black details break up the monotony, on the sides of the torso and inside of the arms, and all but the fronts of the thighs. A line of eight gems adorn the collar
Motif: Cicada Husk
Color Scheme: Tan, Black
Transformation:
Fighting Style: Combination of Aikido and a unique hand and a half sword style, focused on speed and strength as opposed to complexity.
Weapons: Kusanagi no Tsurugi; A four-foot-long Katana-style sword embued with "Null Essence".
Abilities: All physical attacks have a mysterious "null essence", which interferes with the natural progression of an act or object, allowing certain wounds to be "locked" in time for a short duration, rendering high-speed regeneration useless.
Additionally, Nil may use the eight gems on his chest to preform a number of magical actions;
-- Short-distance teleportation (~30 meters), on line of sight, once per gem; Can change directions when teleporting.
-- Personal Acceleration on par with Clock Up, at a rate of 1 perceived second per gem.
-- Yata no Kagami, a physical barrier that creates a magical binding when broken. Can be layered. Has a hexagonal motif.
Gems can have their lustre restored by striking the target.
Finisher(s):
-- Starless Sky; Simple diagonal cut with the Kusanagi no Tsurugi.
-- Void Reversal; Aikido tosses a target, then kicks them before they hit the ground.
-- Void Punch; Strong right straight, causing a shockwave of Null Essence within the target’s body, causing explosions all around them.
Other Equipment:
- 1961 Gibson EB-0, Cherry red.
- Oversized Bokken
- Custom Motorcycle, Tan with gray detailing and matte black fixtures.
History
A mortal man sought to be a God; To do this, he realized he had to cast off the limits of humanity, and entered a dark magical pact to become a new serpent king. The process cast away his old body, shook the world to it’s core, and killed thousands in Tokyo. What he became in exchange, he found to amusing, but continued to seek even greater strength.
In exchange, his body and life force were left behind, without soul, memory or emotion. What he gained in exchange was power; Not all the power he’d ever have, but power enough to fight. As he fought, he was contacted by a scruffy-haired man in a Tengu mask. This man suggested something to him...
“The true Regalia of Japan has been lost. Recover it, and add that power to your own.” And so he did. He fought the three strongest natural Kaijin his world could produce, and won each of the battles, recovering the Imperial Regalia and adding that legendary strength to his own power.
And so his battle with the false Orochi was a one-sided affair, his power overwhelming the would-be God, little more than an oversized snake, and far weaker than any of the Kaijin that Kenshiro had defeated already.
Six months later, he found a Switch, and that Switch gave him a door to a new world, and a new set of people to protect...

Sample RP:
The sound of rain on a dirty window, on a stone wall... His only companion in the dark, grimy little room with just a bed and a toilet... Very western, in a former US Navy port town. Surprising, but far from anything but the now-defunct naval base and some bars. Six months ago, he’d finished his war, and over time cleaned up the scraps. He no longer had purpose, so he repaired motorcycles for money, and kept out of peoples’ way.
He rolled over, and found a note and a switch. He didn’t leave them there. He folded the note open, and read quickly. The switch would show him the path to a new purpose. It would open a doorway, one way, to a world that still needed him. He picked the device up, and looked at it. It resembled an Astro Switch, silver with white detailing. It had a small door for a switch, and he flicked it open. A glistening, liquid-silver portal formed along the wall, right over the window. He stepped through, without another thought.
