Overview:
Pieter is a kind and caring man who puts the needs of others above his own. Diligent and hardworking, he’s not afraid of working for a living, or being handed a good life and money. He’d rather work, however, having no love for being handed things. Smart and quick-witted, Pieter would rather talk his way out of situations, but fights when he must, being very skilled with a sword – lessons as a child – but not really with other weapons. He always helps those being oppressed, and will do what he can to see justice done to people who act like “monsters”, such as rapists and murderers, if he can get to them first somehow. He doesn’t care what happens to himself, as long as he can help people.

History

Pieter was born in Paris, as his mother was French and his father Japanese. They took their mother’s name and lived in France for a few months before moving back to Tokyo, where they would live. Pieter had money growing up, as his mother had money in her family, and his father was a mildly successful businessman.

He wasn’t spoiled as a child, and was brought up very well. His sister, Ahim, was eventually born, and he took to taking care of her and being there for her. As he continued to grow, he learned some refined things, such as fencing and archery.

After he was finished with his schooling he didn’t know what to do, and sat on their money for a while, trying to find what he could do with his life. His sister graduated, and he decided he had to find something. He found the Tomorrow Project and joined them, passing their tests and becoming GokaiSilver.

His sister followed and wanted to join. She didn’t have the skills that he did, but was chosen anyway for her heart and her marksmanship, which was very shocking to Pieter that she was that good. The two were equipped as Gokaigers and made into guardians for the Tomorrow Project.

Overview:
Ahim is a kind, caring woman, gentle and well mannered. She speaks properly and never out of turn, but can be brought to anger when her friends are concerned. She is a pacifist, and tries to solve things peacefully, but is clumsy, fairly new to fighting. She has the occasional misconception about life, having been brought up well, so some commonalities are new to her. She never sees a reason to become angry, unless the enemy does something completely unforgivable. She's not a very strong fighter, preferring a gun or two over her sword, but she does have some fighting abilities. She loves tea, and will do anything she can to help anyone, including strangers. She is extremely loyal, and would do anything for her team, more so than for strangers.

History

While Pieter was born in Paris, Ahim was born in Tokyo, yet still bore a French name. Even with the money, Ahim was never interested, more interested in spending time with her brother than even thinking about money and the life they could have as spoiled children. She just went through her days as a good child and became a wonderful young woman.

She was taught archery when she was growing up, but that was all she had an interest in learning. It would later be of some help for her marksmanship as a Gokaiger. She went through schooling, not trying to pass herself off as anything special, and succeeded, most people didn’t pay attention to her past, it was well hidden.

When she was seventeen she met a man a few years older named Joe Gibken, a young rogue, he could be called. He had dreams of helping people against monsters and saving lives, despite having no powers, no other form. He went off after some time with Ahim, and later ended up being killed. She found out that he had been a soldier of some sort.

This hurt her, and put her into a depression for the last few weeks of school. When she was done she ended up following her brother, learning of the Tomorrow Project. She wanted to join and help, and was allowed to after her personality was appreciated, and her marksmanship skills were tested and found to be very high. She was given the title of GokaiPink and given the corresponding Ranger Keys, becoming a guardian for the Project.

She nodded, “It doesn’t take away the pain.”

“I know,” he said, “But he did what he wanted. He wanted to protect people, and he did that. It cost him his life, but he did protect them.”

“I know,” she said, “But it’s painful.”

“It will hurt, but it will get better,” Pieter tried to assure her.

She could just nod. She got up and left the room, leaving him with the fire.

Overview:
Sid is a man of honor and his principles, but one who was spoiled in life, and doesn’t know much about what real life is like. He went on a sojourn to various locations around the world, and has returned with some changes at least. He can come off sometimes as a spoiled and entitled man, but that’s not what he wants to be seen as. He’s a man who can help people, and wants to. Or at least, wanted to. Ever since returning, things have become different with him. He’s somewhat colder, and has reverted a bit to being spoiled, but not as much as he once was. He doesn’t talk about the things that happened during his trip, and is very tied into his spiritual side, for his swordsmanship and combat, but can be an ass to people, showing a darker side to himself at times.

History

Sid’s parents are a Japanese father and English mother. His mother had money from her family, and there were allegations that his father married her solely or the money. Sid was born with his mother’s surname and an English first name, as his father conceded these to the mother.

He spent time in Europe as a baby, but then they moved back to Japan where he lived his life in a good part of Tokyo. He was raised well, and privately tutored. He never really saw much of the world, or life around him as he grew up in solitude, in money.

As he grew up, he was taught archery, swordsmanship, and things his mother said a boy of his standing should know, assuming it was Europe. He still took to these lessons, and would later train Joe Gibken in swordsmanship and martial arts, along with a few others, though primarily Joe, whom he looked to as an actual pupil.

As he grew up, and especially after learning about Joe going to serve with mercenaries, Sid decided he needed something to do. While someone he could consider a friend was out seeing other parts of the world, and being thrust into danger, Sid had nothing.

He tried to change that, and went on a journey for a year around the world, but returned to Japan without having found much. Or so he says.
