As can be read from the title, this is to see if there's any interest for a Hibiki RP set in the early Sengoku period. So kind of like the movie, but with their equipment not being so high-tech as the actual series pre-staff change implied. And magic spells.
For the plot, I'm toying with the idea of having it revolve around factions of Oni at war with each other based on differing ideologies.

Please don't use the word "rape" in that way.
But yes, I am disregarding everything from Inuoe. Anyone is also welcome to come up with ideas for factions.

What you could do for factions, as someone pointed out on TV Nihon regarding GARO Makai Senki, you could have Takeshi and the Oni both wanting different things. A civil war between the support team and the Oni. There was the Oni Armor, for instance. Takeshi could want to do things one way, using tools like that, while the Oni have their own views.

I'm not too hot on the Oni armour idea. I know it was weaker but it is still antithetical to the entire idea of Oni, being that you only get power based on your own hard work.
Not entirely sure about what to do with Takeshi. Going to go dig up some ideas from the series. I recall Midori being able to activate shikigami so maybe magic isn't the sole domain of Oni?

You going to have a list of Sengoku-era instruments to pick from, or are we gonna be stuck with canon instruments?
Additionally, are the factions going to represent the Era's political strife?
