His dreams were nightmares. He remembered the things he had done as End, the painful process of becoming that Avatar, all of his sins. It was pain to live through them, to have to remember it, but he did. His sleep was restless, as he tossed and turned through his rest.

When he woke up, he didn't know how long he had been asleep. He just wanted to get up and put those nightmares behind him. When he sat up he didn't see that woman, so he got off of the couch, feeling a little more surefooted, and walked around, looking for her, checking rooms.

Raina rested on the bed...her pink shirt and blue jean shorts being all that she had on...having removed her shoes and socks before sleeping. The Morphin' Blaster remained on display, on her chest.

He opened that door, seeing her asleep. He wasn't sure what to do then, so he quietly closed it and went back to the couch.

A few minutes later, Raina stirred...looking around...and got up, swinging her long legs over the side, putting the Morphin' Blaster back on her belt, and walking out of her room barefoot. Where was he...

He was lying on the couch again, thinking about what he would be doing.

"Oh...you're awake." Raina said, surprised she even slept, since she didn't trust him. She wondered if he'd seen her sleeping....

There was that demeanor again...just the way he'd asked that....seemingly innocently...that caused her heart to clench a little. "To be honest, I don't know why either. It was just an instinct I acted upon." she said, walking towards him.

He nodded once, "I see. I'm glad you have those instincts then," he said simply.
