Damnit...She knew as soon as she looked in his eyes...his manner, his way of speaking...that it was true. Why? was the question she asked herself as she leaned over and pulled him into a hug. "I'm sorry." she said softly...

He was surprised by her hug. She had acted so differently, kindly yes, but this was completely different. He didn't know what to say, what to do.
