Overview: Rei was formerly the Leviathan Mirage, one of the most powerful. However, an unforeseen accident resulted in him gaining a degree of human biology, becoming a hybrid. He was able to see that his people were baselessly attacking these people who had done nothing to them, and thus, he set out to stop them. Rei is very protective of his true identity, thus the bandages over his face, and he is a very angry person. He's pretty much permanently irritated, but deep down, he's a good guy. He meditates often, in an attempt to find some form of peace in his life.


Hero Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Raijin
Type Of Hero: Kamen Rider
Henshin Device: The Raijin Whirlwind, a device aesthetically similar to the Aqua Driver, but about 2/3 the size and silver. The spinning centerpiece has a hexagonal slot to the left with a blue and white gem set in it, and an empty pentagonal slot to the right. There is also a small switch on the top right. The Whirlwind can be separated from the belt, a inch-wide plain grey belt with a pouch for the Raijewels on the left hip. Used in conjunction with a Raijewel, pentagonal colored jewels.
Henshin Sequence: He triggers the switch on the Whirlwind, summoning the belt sans Whirlwind. He retrieves a Raijewel and puts it into the empty slot, then mounts the Whirlwind onto the belt as the jewels begin to glow. He strikes a quick pose and yells, "Henshin!", as the spinner begins to do it's thing, sending out armor which assembles in the air above his body, then falls onto him, completing the transformation.
Forms:

• Form Name: Torrent Sapphire
  Image/ Description: His basic form, a light blue shimmery undersuit with blue and silver trimmed greaves, boots and knee plates. His chest plate is similar to Aqua's, blue mainly with silver and light blue trim, shoulder plates with a slight teardrop shape, and the Torrent Chainzers mounted on his arms. His helmet is designed like this, and in this form, it's black with a blue visor and silver design.
  Motif: Sea, Ocean, Sapphire
  Color Scheme: Light blue, Blue, Silver, Black
  Transformation: As above, using the Torrent Sapphire
  Fighting Style: He uses a brutal, acrobatic style, making great use of the Chainzers and tearing his enemies apart.
  Weapons: The Torrent Chainzers, two short (about 1.5 feet) chainsaws mounted on his arms which can fold in for storage.
  Abilities: He's very fast and acrobatic, and can walk on water. The Chainzers have unparalleled cutting power, able to cut through anything less than diamond like butter.
  Finisher(s): Torrent Chain Blast- Performed on water, he detaches the Whirlwind and mounts it onto the left Chainzer, causing it to announce, "STORM IS BREWING!" The Chainzers begin to work like crazy and glow as he crouches, holding his arms out to the sides. He yells, "Torrent Chain Blast!" and vanishes under the water. He blasts out of the water closer to the enemy, flying onto the land if the enemy is there, and slashes down powerfully in an "X" fashion, chopping the enemy just about into 4 pieces.
  Torrent Sunder- He taps the Sapphire on the Whirlwind, and it announces, "STORM WARNING!" and begins to flash. He crouches, and charges forward, sliding along the ground for a short stretch then popping up with a powerful upward kick, sending the target flying into the air and destroying it.
  
  
• Form Name: Gale Emerald
  Image/ Description: As above, but the undersuit is silver, the armor is green with white trim, no Chainzers on his arms, replaced with regular green and white bracers and the helmet is silver, with a green visor and white design.
  Motif: Wind, Emerald, Storm
  Color Scheme: Green, Silver, White
  Transformation: He uses the Gale Emerald
  Fighting Style: Very fast, all ranged attacks
  Weapons: The Gale Shotzers, twin one-handed shotguns. He can switch each between Lightning, Wind, Trace (tracking bullets) and Brutality (common shotgun) modes.
  Abilities: He can use wind to do various things, including create a semi-solid path to walk on in midair, propel him up or along the ground, and buffet enemies. The Gale Shotzers can fire very rapidly.
  Finisher(s): Gale Storm Cannon- He attaches the Whirlwind to one of the Shotzers, prompting it to announce, "STORM IS BREWING!" Wind begins to accumulate around the barrels of the Shotzers, and he takes aim, yelling, "Gale Storm Cannon!" He fires, shooting out twin lasers which blaze through the target, vaporizing them. We don't get an explosion, but it still kicks ass.
  
  
• Form Name: Ice Amethyst
  Image/ Description: As above, but the undersuit is a light grey, the armor is purple with white trim, regular old bracers instead of the Chainzers, and the helmet is light grey, with a purple visor and white design.
  Motif: Ice, Amethyst, Ocean
  Color Scheme: Purple, Grey, White
  Transformation: Using the Ice Amethyst
  Fighting Style: A close-combat style, using the Stanzer at it's full length.
  Weapons: The Ice Stanzer, a staff about as long as Rei is tall with ice buildup on both ends.
  Abilities: He can create and manipulate ice for many purposes. It's also possibly his physically strongest form, able to lift almost 50 tons and strike with similar force. However, this form seems to drain the energy from his muscles, so he can't use it for very long.
  Finisher(s): Crystal Breaker- He taps the Ice Amethyst in the Whirlwind, and it announces, "STORM WARNING!" He steps back, before throwing the Stanzer into the ground, causing a trail of ice to shoot forward along the ground and freeze the enemy. He then uses the Stanzer like a springboard to launch himself into the air for a flying side kick.

  Image/ Description: As above, but the undersuit is jet-black, the armor is a dark navy blue trimmed with a slightly lighter shade of blue, regular bracers, and the helmet is black, with a lighter blue visor and navy blue design.

  Transformation: As above, using the Deep Jet
  Fighting Style: He uses a pretty savage style, striking with power and ferocity
  Weapons: The Deep Swingzer, a spiked ball about 6 inches in diameter attached to a short chain which is attached to his right wrist, used as a flail
  Abilities: He can negate the effects of high water pressure or gravity within about 10 feet of his body, and can also raise gravity or water pressure in the same area.
  Finisher(s): Pressure Cracker- He attaches the Whirlwind to the bracer on his right arm, and it announces, "STORM IS BREWING!" He holds the ball in his hand and either swims or jumps upward, before coming down, raising gravity or water pressure around him and releasing the ball, bringing it down with full force on his target's head and breaking his opponent pretty much into pieces.

History

Rei began life as the human guise of a powerful Mirage known as the Leviathan Mirage, fighting alongside his kin to destroy Suito. As an attempt to ingratiate into human society so he could learn their weak points, he underwent a procedure to infuse human DNA with that of his own Mirage DNA, transforming into a hybrid. However, this transformation not only made him a full human, it also gave him a human personality. As time went on, this personality developed, until he was finally able to see that his kin were no more than savage monsters, hellbent on destroying a people that had done them no harm. So Rei turned on his own kin.
At first, it was simply a Mirage fighting other Mirage. Then Rei was defeated, beaten into submission by a large number of his kin and left on the ocean floor outside of Suito. As he lay there, on the verge of death, he found a device: the Raijin Whirlwind. He still doesn’t know how it got there, or why it was there when he found it, but he’s not exactly gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. Using the Whirlwind, he transformed into Kamen Rider Raijin and proceeded to destroy all of the monsters who had attacked him.
Since he wasn’t exactly keen to reveal the identity of the half-monster man who’s a Rider to the city, he took to wrapping bandages around his face. He also wrapped them around his feet and hands for protection. He took a jacket off of the body of a man who had been killed by a Mirage, and set out on his quest to eradicate the Mirage. He is fully prepared to kill himself when the last Mirage dies, in order to completely exterminate the species.

Sample RP: Rei sat on a roof, meditating. He had come to terms with his mission to destroy his people, but still found no solace in the pursuit. They were monsters, savages, pure evil, with no reason for attacking and rampaging other than their own whims and pleasures. He had rationalized his fight when he found the Whirlwind, on the sea floor, but still…
The ringing tore through his head, disturbing any possible peace. After a quick moment of pain, he stood, got a running start and dove into the nearest canal, zooming through the water to where another of his kin was attacking.
