Hero Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Ryujin
Type Of Hero: Rider
Henshin Device: Dragon Driver, a device in similar design to the Arcle, but has a brighter silver color with deep blue runic designs around it. The buckle has the emblem of a spiraling blue dragon with a silver crystal in the center, the kanji for “Dragon” can be faintly seen in the crystal’s center.
Henshin Sequence: Ryu crosses his arms over his waist,causing the Driver to materialize, than moves one arm out forward while drawing the other arm into a pumping state. He than yells “Henshin!”
And the crystal comes to life as he thrusts his pumped arm into the air, causing a bright light to shoot up,forming his dragon partner who than flies down and collides with Ryu,becoming his armor and completing the transformation.
Forms:
- Form Name: Ryujin
Image/ Description: The form consists of a black body suit, over it is midnight blue armor made up of metallic greaves with the image of dragon’s feet and legs superimposed over it. The gauntlets have silver lining with claws in place of fingers. The shoulderpads have sharp ridges to them. On the torso is a chestplate with armor on the lower torso. The emblem of a dragon in flight can be spotted on the chest. The helmet is shaped like a wyvern’s head with a deep blue visor split down the middle by a horned crest,forming eyes and his mouthplate is shaped like dragon’s teeth. The belt sits around the waist.
Motif: Dragons
Color Scheme: Black, Midnight Blue,Silver
Transformation: Exactly the same as his henshin sequence.
Fighting Style: Observant, mixed with hand-to-hand and ranged attacks to throw his opponents off and spot weaknesses.
Weapons: From her belt he can summon forth soul crystals that can morph into various weapons and armaments, including the Ryujin Saber, Dragon Blaster, and Wyvern Claws.
Abilities: Like any Rider, Ryujin possesses enhanced strength,agility and stamina. He also can unfold his wings to glide for a set period and relies on the Soul Crystals to provide most of his powers and abilities.
Finisher(s):
Dragon Burst Kick- Ryujin’s leg combusts into blue flame as he leaps up into the air, his wings unfolding to help him fly high before descending on his foe, the flames forming a dragon talon that smashes into his foe, the claws squeeze his target as he leaps away and his foe explodes.
Dragon God’s Wrath-Ryujin slots in a soul crystal to his saber as it ignites in blue flames, he than charges his foe and releases the power in the form of a silver energy dragon who smashes through his target,making it explode.
Blitz Slash-Ryujin puts in his soul crystal but now Runs toward his target and swing his flaming sword multiple times, causing his enemy to split apart as he appears behind them.
Dragon Shoot-Ryujin slots in a soul crystal and focuses power from his belt into his Dragon Blaster, the result is a large blast of energy,taking the form of a dragon head that bites its target before self-destructing. Element crystals create differing effects.
Fist of the Dragon-Ryujin’s arm combusts into blue flame and the image of a giant fist appears as he runs forward and slams the fist into his foe,launching them into the air. As they fall, he rams his fist into it one more time,causing a large explosion.
Wyvern Hurricane-Ryujin uses a soul crystal to sprout curved blades from his arms and legs than spins like a top,becoming a mini-twister that scoops up his foes and slices them repeatedly over and over. Despite the power, it’s only effective at close range and leaves the user disoriented for a bit.
Other Equipment:- Machine Ryujin: Ryujin’s personal motorcycle. It morphs along with him when he transforms and can also use the soul crystals to increase its capabilities.
- Soul Crystals: The remnants of a dragon god’s essence and power. There are many different crystals and each are capable of specific actions. Some create new weapons, others have elemental attributes, and others increase the user’s own attributes. They have been scattered and lost to the ages...until now..
History
Ryu grew up in North America to an American father and Japanese mother. His parents worked long hours in their business so he didn’t get to see them often, but they tried their best to provide for him and be there when something significant happened in his life, like a birthday party or the death of a loved one.
Ryu didn’t have much in the terms of real friends so he spent much of his time reading,writing, playing video games or watching anime. His love of books and his interactions with people had a huge influence on his outlook on life.
From a young age, he hated seeing needless suffering and people who simply accepted it grated his nerves to no end. His attempts to change it made some people see him as a trouble maker or being lectured by other adults. Which couldn’t be furthur from the true as he had a habit of being a mediator.
Despite the difficulty he experienced in school, he excelled and eventually won a scholarship to a prestigous university. For a time, he was happy as was his family, and it looked like his life would get better...until tragedy struck.
Ryu was home alone one night when police came to his house and revealed sad news: His parents had been murdered by an unknown assailant. Ryu was devastated and fell into a state of depression, for a time he even considered ending his life.
However, he knew his parents would want him to go on and live and felt he’d be disgracing their memory if he gave up. Soon after he recieved his parents last will,among the contents was a item that would change his life forever.
His mother’s family had always protected a sacred dragon statue said to hold the spirit of an ancient dragon god,Ryujin. Such was where Ryu had gotten his name. Ryu accepted it and vowed to protect the statue. A couple nights later, he was home alone again when something attacked his house, a mantis-like creature who, from the descriptions,matched the unknown assailant who had killed his parents.
The beast sought to steal the statue but Ryu refused and got injured for it. Just as it looked like he was about to die, a voice came from the statue,asking him if he wanted to live and avenge the death of his loved ones. Ryu realized it as Ryujin and accepted. The statue shattered and its spirit shot into his body,giving him the Dragon Driver.
Realizing what he had to do, Ryu transformed into Ryujin and defeated the monster. Now bonded with the mythical dragon spirit, Ryu seeks to recover the Soul Crystals and defeat the mysterious Ouroboros organization so that no else’s future is taken from them..

Sample RP: The young man stood there on the empty street, a cool wind blowing about and ruffling his coat, a calm expression on his face as he looked at the silhouetted figure before him. “I’m sorry, but would you run that by me one more time, Mr Dark and Mysterious?”
A sigh could be heard from the shadowey figure,”I told you, we are only trying to save your world from drowning in a sea of sorrow and chaos.”
Ryu folded his arms,”And you plan to do that by slaughtering whoever gets in your way and taking their souls...”
The figure shook its head,”Boy, please understand, what we do is for the greater good of all life. Yes, a few souls must be sacrificed but that is nothing compared to the peace and security that will come once we remake the world. Think about it, no more wars, no more suffering, no more disease or negativity. All shall live as one.”
Ryu scowled slightly.”Well...excuse my language but...I gotta call “bullshit” on that.”
The figure’s eyes widened a little.”Excuse me?”
The boy looked at him,”The world doesn’t need your perfect order, and in case you forgot...you killed my parents..” His belt shimmered into view.”For that, you forfeited your lives...”
The being snarled,”Insolent fool...you think you can stand against us? We higher beings?”
